No champion is rushed, not lately at least. But Naafiri is one of the better designed champs as of late. Sett, Naafiri, and Vex were all super well designed and kept simple, while also keeping up with the league champs. Now are their numbers themselves balanced? I would certainly say Sett isn't with that much true damage, but it's clear, it's indicative, and easy to understand that you screwed up not because the champ was 200 years designed.

Honestly I love naafiris design. They could have gone the sif route and made her hold the dagger, but that really doesn't have a pack feel. I like the idea of a being splitting and shattering into this pack of wolves that tears its victims apart, while still having the sly charm of scar from the lion king. Seriously hats off to the design theme for making the most lovable eldritch abomination of flesh and iron.

Sif works in it's own story and themes but for Naafiri? There's no way it could work. She's stuck in very nice balance between spiky and metallic esthetic of Darkins and a dog, because... You know, her vessel is a dog after all. The blades around her neck give her that uncanny look and her head... Or face I should say(?) have a semblance of human futures (not counting her "earring"). It just works so well together. If only Riot design team head more freedom in making champions we would've more champions like her. I don't mean monster like - but it's still great - but more interesting. 17th thicc babe with guns isn't an interesting design riot, stop being 13 years old...

It's crazy how much you can elevate a character with a good music track and a few good ideas meshed. The entire design is basically "dog + kitchen knife". I've noticed this alot lately with alot of indie characters as well lately especially in games. Characters that would otherwise be forgettable or just ok are paired with a collab song and that made them recognisable characters in the indie industry.
