Nice video but forgot something..can you PLEASE! connect this controller to pc VIA STEAM BIG PICTURE MODE or DESKTOP and then tell me if your able to or customize ALL THE BUTTONS INCLUDING THE REAR buttons using only steam input (no other software) need to know before ibuy if steam will recognize all buttons to be customized???(please enable steam input for playstation controller in settings first)

sadly I had to return it. It connected through steam standard or big picture, but was unable, on Mac to play any game on steam. It just doesn't recognize the controller. We even have the calibration software for Mac but is useless, it's just for calibration and then gaming on console. On ps5 games, rumble effect is deactivated, a Sony requirement, and it just works on PS4. IF you are a competitive player then the missing of rumble or adaptive triggers is not an issue. It's sad that the controller has bluetooth incorporated, but it only works for pairing with headphones. Also a feature that might be blocked by Sony. A direct connection on Mac and Pc, without using the dongle would surely had solved the connection issues on Steam and outside Steam. It's a good controller, but not for everyone, sadly, and for the missing features, quite expensive. Sony should get better and not block the competition. But it is what is is, there is Edge but Nacon feels better, sadly with many disabilities.

Can you make it so you can remap the back buttons on advance mode? Atm, you can only remap the back buttons in classic mode, but classic mode diables the profiles and the features/settings that come with having different profiles. Classic mode is essential is a stock profile with no controller customization like deadzones, different lighting effects, and aim curves which is plain stupid. I tend to play different games at all times and having to play on CM just so i can rebind my buttons on the fly is dumb and whats worse is if you do play in CM, the ring light on the controller (which you CANT decrease the brightness of if the controller is on CM btw) is so damn bright, its annoying trying to play in a dark room.

And how do i un do the pre settings? Of i don‘t want to use shortcuts or the pre settings for the other kyes and the speed of the sticks???

Just use the included USB cable and set your PS5 to use it as a wired controller if you are looking for the lowest latency

Is this specifically a PS5 controller, or are other platforms using a touch pad as well (X,E,A,O buttons are too obvious). ... Okay, PS5, PS4, and PC. Still uses an Xbox layout and shape.

Using the controller in PS4 mode using steam input will allow you to map the trackpad and gyro.
