Sade has the sexiest voice on the planet. Performing one of her songs (and this one, iconic) requires replicating her sensuality. This performance, although it showed vocal quality, lacked the most important thing, sensuality. I regret that she has not been successful because she is an excellent singer.

I honestly think that if the Voice live shows weren't so rushed this season, Nadege would have been one of the top 9, and it would have been L, Tae, and Zoe fighting for the save. I wonder if there is some issues with the show renting out the venue or if they are cutting corners to save money. Its so dumb that there are only 3 weeks of lives this season.

I couldn't agree more. A shame Nadege is out and that the Voice is only 3 weeks of live shows unlike winner Tessanne Chin's season back in 2013 when there were some 10 weeks of live shows. Tae, L and Zoe have nothing on Nadege.

This was a great song for Nadege but this was my least favorite from her. There were pitch issues here and there. It was better than L at least. She has a really beautiful voice. I don't think she was ever going to connect with voters. She just doesn't have a strong fanbase that others have sadly. Artists like her never seem to go far. I could tell she was also nervous and I would have liked more energy.

I wondered why Chance glommed onto this woman from the start and pushed her forward, while tossing out other far better singers. Kyle can sing circles around her. Tonight she really showed Chance what a chump he's been. I dont think she will have any substantial career as a singer. Also, 69,000 people have watched this -- with only 690 likes.

I heard from a singer it's really not audience that picks the people but producers. I don't understand. The judges do all the "judging and picking" and then supposedly left to audience. That's scary. The judges have the ears to judge. They are the professional singers. Only thing I don't like about the show

@@srfmulti4593 Your second point is the main one. The Voice autotunes and pitch corrects all the performances up until the live shows. From auditions to playoffs. Some require more help than others. Combined with the fact that they invite so many already established singers to audition for the show and we get what we get. Some great singers who never win and some newcomers who get all messed up in The Lives. Look how L was exposed and that weirdo rock singer in their first live performance. Their vocals were painful. Even Maddy was not great last night. Nadeje can sing and she's elegant about it. But jazzy singing just doesn't resonate with enough people. Karen, Asher, Tae and Madison are the best vocalists this year. That retro dude on John's team can sing too - but he's a bit too cruise ship performer. The Voice is not a respected show. The winners seldom prosper and the best singers seldom win. Asher, who is a real find - is lucky to be on team Reba. He's a stunning singer - but a big black man with blue contacts and beyonce wigs with long fingernails and so much sugar in his tank wouldn't have a chance if he wasn't on The Queen of Country Music's team. I'm rooting for him. I believe Reba is too. They all are secretly rooting for Asher - because no one else is on his level. And he's not a professional singer like Karen, Josh and Maddy. If that 50 year old fake rock singer in sequin jackets wins - Ima gone shoot myself.

The first clue about L was how shocked the other judges were when Reba gave her the playoff pass. As discussed - the auditions, battle rounds, knockouts and the playoffs are all autotuned and enhanced before the show broadcasts. We can tell what contestants sound like in tone - but are spared most of their vocal weakness and big mistakes. But the judges hear what they really sound like. Why do you think they show us so little of the rehearsals and each year cut back on the number of LIVE shows??? The Voice is about the superstar judges - not the singers. Reba had a soft spot for L. Sweet.
