I am always a big fan of Nadeem Shrvan's melody and I also agreed that they have changed the total music industry with their unbeatable melody. As I am a fan of them that is why I wanted them to at least use the copyright. Otherwise even they copied some songs but to Indianize any song is not a matter of joke.

The credit thing is not with music director but with Music Companies The music companies don't want to loose a single penny if they do they may have to share profit or royalties by acknowledging original authors And about copying It's not just NS almost every composer has some copied songs from somewhere and nobody gave credit to anybody And i also think copying or inspiring and making that thing better is not a bad thing if credits are given to original people But thanks to the era of internet now if anybody copies anything it can be caught instantly

Agree, 100% with you. Great video btw. But look at the rest of the nominations. Most of them had at least one song inspired from somewhere or the other! 1990 Dil (Mujhe Neend Na aaye was inspired by Chunni Ud Ud Jaye) Baaghi (Chaandi Raat Hain the start tune especially was inspired by an Illayaraja tune, though the rest of the song was different. however, this album wasn't as big a hit as Dil or Aashiqui) Aashiqui had a fresh sound and hence I feel, that's why they awarded Aashiqui though Anand-Milind could have also won it for Dil. 1992 Beta (Koyal Si Teri Boli, Dhak Dhak were inspired from south indian songs as we all know and Sajna Sajni from a pakistani song. Personally, since both Deewana and Beta were not 100% original, I think Beta had better (and more popular) music.) Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (Pehla Nasha was the biggest hit of this album. The other songs were good, but not as popular. Based on originality, this film should have got the award. But then again, the award is for the best album and not the best song.) My choice would have been Anand-Milind for Beta. 1996 Papa Kehte Hain (Two songs stood out - Ghar Se Nikalte Hi and Pehle Pyar Ka Pehla Gam. Again, the same argument - the entire album wasn't as big as a hit as Raja Hindustani) Khamoshi-The musical (Jaana Suno was inspired. This album is in a league of its own and if it were up to me, Jatin-Lalit would have got the award for their sheer brilliance. Every song was a gem. Filmfare and the Tauranis (who marketed the music of Raja Hindustani and also presented the film), had good relations with Nadeem-Shravan. Over the years, RH is still popular on the radio.) Tere Mere Sapne - (A couple of songs were really good, but not the entire album. Kuch Mere Dil Ne Kaha, the title song and Aankh Maare, which I believe borrowed the beats from some international song - I need to verify this.) Maachis - (Vishal Bharadwaj won the best promising music director, aka R.D. Burman award for this film. I would have awarded this film (or Khamoshi) because A- all the songs are amazing and original and B - Almost every song was a hit) Either Jatin-Lalit or Vishal Bharadwaj. Or then Rajesh Roshan. This is purely my choice and I don't mean to say that Nadeem-Shravan didn't deserve the award. If my opinion mattered, things would have been very different :) Cheers!

Inspiration and copy karna bilkul alag chij hai. Inspiration se aap kisi gaane ko ek alag direction main le jaate hain na ki hubahu utar dete hain. Inspired song main aap even identify bhi nahi kar sakte hain ki uska original song kaun hai. NS ko jitna hype kiya gaya hai industry main. Jin listeners se ne utna pyar diya 7nko jab ye pata chalta hai ki NS ki songs copied hai to wo ye soch ke ki hum thage gaye ye accept nahi kar paate aur kehte hain ki kuch bhi ho entertain to kiya. Thodi bahut copy chalti hai itna bhi nahi ki har badi hit hi copy ho. NS se bahut hi acha music us daur main Jatin Lalit ne diya. Unhone bhi copy ki lekin bahut kam aur unka koi bhi bada hit copied nahi hai.
