Ec1s has never been that good, and babyJ is good in NA but can't see him doing great internationally, same with hiko really. Ethan and asuna are great but I don't see this team doing anything for a while :(

CodySun was regarded as a top adc and they basically hid the reason why they benched him on 100T's run that yr on worlds. We basically got zero intel on why 100T Val isn't performing well last yr just the PR BS we always get from them and the players. If it weren't for nitr0 sharing some exp he had with the team we wouldn't even know that steel and frost had been bashing heads

@@stevedadshumptomp7845 Sure but what about how nitr0 said that they don't have a good relationship with steel in the server? obviously steel caused a lot of friction when he was on the team but did it have to come down to practically months of bad performances and PR bs before we got significant changes in actually improving the team. They were late with the Astra/Viper meta during Stage 2 Challengers 1 or something where they were still running Omen and even neglecting Jett on maps like Ascent just for them to play Phx while playing Omen on Icebox. They could've made moves then why do it before LCQ. If they're just letting go of both frost and steel they should've restructured the team months before Stage 3 and LCQ.

@@Tekologic Captains basically just are the face of the team, sometimes giving rosters suggestions and trying to recruit other players. IGL call plays and strategies in-game and also makes sure everyone's mental is good.

It’s because of buyouts. Here’s a little story. Ec1s just came from a team in EU that disbanded so he’s a free agent and his salary was poor in NIP. 100t tried contacting top tier NA teams to buy their IGLs and were rejected so they decided to go the free route and import ec1s.

@@celynnXD dont believe this man, ec1s is an IGL who preformed pretty well with NIP and ok with TL, just because he does bad in a ranked game doesnt mean he's bad. I think there's gonna be better synergy and the roles are gonna be better defined with this iteration. The firepower will be worse than the last one, but I think the team syngergy will make up for that
