This just makes me think of all the people who can't afford to eat and the homeless sleeping in the West End over Christmas. It reminds me of a know a family of 4 that I know, until recently were living on a can of sardines per day and the wife had a miscarriage from malnutrition. I think actually christmas should be time of fasting not stuffing our faces. I think its great to buy nice things for christmas if one can afford it but some of those items were truly ridiculous - those pretty biscuits for example. You eat it, then what?
