Great episode as a whole ,but... Some things just don’t add up . He talks about cooperation with traditional parties as political realism as opposed to revolutionary purity . Dealing with them peice by peice على القطعة . This is exactly how all the parties who are supposed to be in “the opposition “ have been dealing with hizballa for the past 15 years . This is what the progressive party partisans are marketing now . تنظيم الخلاف لمصلحة البلد . They call it . And how did that work for us so far ????? He says you only need 10 deputies to be able to pass a law . Gea3ga3 and jumblate have almost 20 between them , why don’t they start now if they are احزاب تغييرية as mentioned? They were not able to absente themselves from the Diab trust session. Not even resign after the explosion. . How do you as 17 October work with these people? It just doesn’t add up . The notion of العداء المطلق to hizballa as the main cause is absurd and it is actually what the gulf countries where Nadim is happy to raise his kids (I am so happy for him by the way ) advocate. Fact remains they all knew what they were doing when they threw us to the wolves to get back at Iran even though they all know more than half of the Lebanese people are against Iran . All the parties say that they are not corrupted and the weapons are the main problem. Just to exonerate themselves Hizballa is a big part of h the problem but not the only problem.and it is the main problem bec their mobs and weapons is what kept these people in place after 17 October and we all know that . I don’t think 17 October revolution should even have candidates for the partial coming elections. We declared them all corrupted illegitimate and unfit . So why would you want to work next to them ? With all due respect to Nadim , I think our generation has no business telling your generation what to do . Nadim is an independent Shiites (sorry I had to use this term ) but he’s not an independent journalist. For a long time he has been affiliated with hariri and we all respected his opposition voice all that time he as in Lebanese media . One more thing mouin . Please don’t put all your hopes on the coming elections. It’s only a step . Of so many . Needed to undo what has been done the last 30 years . I have left Lebanon to live outside in 1992. But not one day has passed without me trying to do what I can to try doing better for Lebanon. I am not against leaving Lebanon. I am against Lebanese who left Lebanon and are still lobbying and sustaining their respective sectarian parties instead of lobbying for Lebanon. 50% didn’t even vote in the last elections. They will this time. If they trust you . As groups , as individuals and as citizens. My daughter will be 21 this year and she can’t wait to vote . But I know for a fact that she will never vote except for 17 October so don’t disappoint her and her Generation by sleeping with the enemy. 14 March coalition got our votes in 2009 then fucked us in 2010 and onward . Sara yafi always talks about how Jewish lobby for Israel in the congress and the senate . why can’t we ? I agree with Nadim. You don’t have to die for the country . But there are so many available alternatives that you possess that Nadim never had . That none of us actually had . Please use them wisely because you are our last hope

What a great mentality this man has. He reached a place in his mind by which he was able to get rid of the delusional ideas that tear people apart and divide them and work to bind us, such as partisanship, nationalism, sectarianism, and others. I really enjoyed watching this episode and always found that my ideas correspond to his ideas and agreed with him on most opinions.. Plus that My country is also going through the same events and problems that Lebanon faces because I am from Yemen, and unfortunately Yemen has the biggest intellectual penetration from the Iranian regime and incursion by its militias, which planted the Houthi terrorist militia and uses them now in Yemen to practice the same crimes and terrorism that Iran committed in Iraq and Lebanon , and now they occupied the capital.. but anyway thank you so much for this episode
When Nadim starts talking I just don't want him to stop.

I can watch Nadim all-day. A fantastic episode that shows precisely what's running in our heads daily, and most importantly how much effort should we put into trying to make something out of 17 October. I totally agree with trying our best until the next elections. Btw regarding the Louis Vuitton part, this is always what I loved about us the Lebanese and this is the image that I love to see being spread, we're educated, we drive the best cars, we have the best-designed houses simply because we love life. 10/10

Walla ya settna we're sorry we're poor. We're sorry "ma mneshbahkoun". You're right, kate2eb and ouwet byeshbahouke, nadim and Sami jmayel byeshbahouke. Charbel Nahas is worth mocking and making fun of. He speaks the langage of the poor. I hate the man but having a "sarde" making fun of him rather than criticizing his economical plan with logic and arguments is beyond me. And talking about Nelson Mandela. Really? If Nelson Mandela knew that this is the leader of thawra he'd have a stroke. Might as well talk about Guevara and his achievements. In able to seem revolutionary and educated enough. With all due respect, this ain't it. This isn't democracy and definitely not "l jil l jdid" expressing themselves. This is a bunch of bourgeois talking about Louis Vuitton and the rich class. I am not a leftist btw, I'm just a guy who tries to understand what are your standards of labeling others. Talking about freedom with someone who literally applauds Ben Salman for killing the journalist Khashkji. What is democracy for you? what is difference in culture for you? what is freedom for you? what's sovereignty for you? Who are the people responsible for this situation in lebanon? Aren’t the 14 march parties the main reason for our economical system in lebanon? Allah yerhamak ya Kamal Jomblat, Antoun Saade, Jebran Tweini, etc. I miss having opponents who respected me as a human being and as a lebanese.

I agreed with some of the points he said, but he was contradicting himself and a clear Hariri sympathizer. Last time I checked Saad Al Hariri failed many times in his role as Prime Minister. Also, he said you can't change the system with white gloves on but I don't want you to go to war. Also, they are corrupt but you have to work with them to change the system. I felt you and Medea could have pushed some answers a bit more, it was more of a monologue not an interview to be honest.

Very good he is a lateral thinker un possessive liberal minded ,trying to open eyes to the chains of holding onto what's not yours in the first place letting go of being a marter and surrendering to fellow man so we all can share and live equally....

A Biased speech toward R.hariri (solidere Godfather + the inventor of the ponzei scheme/haykalit el dayn el aam bel dollars) and blind hate toward HA (they are a problem of course but not THE ultimate/only problem). Maybe based on his personal circumstances but not an objective “political analogy” like for example the episode of Karim Daher. A defender of a certain point of view. Plus minimizing the role of 14 azar og’s in corruption eg. on LF and Kataeb. Jad Ghosn as an objective political analyst is doing a much better job by definition tbh.

@@alexlichaa4251 I dont think theres a link between who's paying him and what he's saying. the man is risking his life and his family's life and I dont think that money is motivating him. He probably believes in what he's saying. He's probably just wrong. Don't see conspiracy theories when there isnt any.

HA are the ultimate problem. It's hard for us to have any friends in the international community when HA periodically attacks Saudi Arabia verbally, and attacks the Americans. It's also hard to have any kind of law when they turned out borders into a jungle... And never mind trying to pass any law that protects women's rights and minority rights... Also, they are killing people.

@@Joe-jc5ol firstly, of course hezbollah is gonna critisize saudi arabja and the united states from 2006 till now starting with the 2006 war that was planned and pushed by george bush and funded also by saudi arabia, then the arab spring happened in the middle east and the one that affected us directly in the syria war that is also planned and made by saudi arabia and the united states by funding the fsa and isis and al qaeda and many more terrorists that ruined syria and attacked lebanon directly, those terrorist’s ideology were made in saudi arabia wich is called wahhabi ideology, saudi arabia made that ideology and trained those people to fight in places like syria and iraq to overthrow bashar l assad and eliminate hezbollah wich is an israeli american project because of the 2006 war resulting in the defeat of israel, you have to understand that the UNITED STATES and SAUDI ARABIA are the ones who assaulted us in the first place

Imputing stuff onto Charbel Nahas and Mouwatinoun wa Mouwatinat and inviting a political opponent to talk about them is despicable. When you want to get an answer on something you get the person itself or the party to answer.
