I've seen people saying they hate this pairing because they think it's simply due to the fact that they are male and female main characters that happened to be friends and they just needed to be together because... just cuz. And you know what, if this were in any other series, I'd think the same way and may actually despise this pair because of it. But since I've played Trigger Happy Havoc and watched these two come together in the story, I actually am completely sold on this relationship. I mean, I'd be happy that they would be a platonic pair as well, but I'm not against it romantically. Kyoko and Makoto are such a naturally likable OTP that made me appreciate them as a partners, friends, and even a potential couple. I haven't felt this way about a fictional connection in such a long time without rolling my eyes with how unnatural certain moments are. I enjoy these two very much, to put it simply. Edit: Yeah, "to put it simply" may not be the phrase I wanted to say, but you get me.

Well, there’s the Danganronpa 2 ships... those exist... But yeah, Danganronpa literally destroys all the ships. I think the biggest reason I was crying during certain trials were because they were either 1.) One of my favorite characters or 2.) Characters I shipped with others. Actually both, characters that were killed I shipped with others. Rip. AND THEN DANGANRONPA V3 HAPPENED where literally all the survivors where from my destroyed ships. And Keebo also died. Danganronpa 2 is literally the only one who avoids the ship destruction, (besides Naegiri), Danganronpa 1, 3, and V3 are just... terrible.

Who agrees that Kyoko is a way better detective than Shuichi? Kyoko is calm and even hides her emotions most of the time so nobody feels despair while Shuichi is like if Makoto and Kyoko had a baby Shuichi is a average detective, but he’s also naive and emotional as hell Edit: Also why does Makoto call Kyoko “Kiri” or “Kirigiri” in the anime but in the game he just calls her “Kyoko” like usual? He call her Kyoko because you play in english. They don't use Naegi-kun or Kirigiri-san, if you play in japanese, you will read/hear that. In the anime, they change that, dunno why it's different from the game but that's their choice.

Edit: also, in the scene where a couple streams of blood can be seen coming from Kyoko's right eye, who else thought maybe she just passed out and the others were overreacting?
