Nag's Cottage is a small little haven up in mountains in the beautiful valley of Kullu in Naggar. The accommodation is comfortable and perfect for a workation. Ashish and Ruchi are just the perfect hosts who personalize those little details that make all the difference. They take care of all your travel, board and lodging (TBL) requirements. Ruchi ji cooks the most amazing food. If you stay here, I recommend you having at least one of your meals everyday at the cottage (I said atleast one...you can have more, if you want). Delicious, wholesome homemade food!! Finger licking. Came with friends who stayed here and we were gob-smacked by the sheer beauty visible from Ashish and Ruchi's 2nd floor deck. Besides the front deck (common area), every room has a neat balcony overlooking the majestic mountains- the mighty Dhauladar range. The Beas river is not too far in nearby Raision village. Soil village is also close by for a half-day excursion where you can explore and take in more visual richness of these absolutely spectacular mountains. Nag's cottage is very comfortable. The place is just spotlessly clean. Ashish oversees everything down to the minutest details. Ruchi also has her focus on guests and their requirements. Together they pack in a punch!!! The kitchen is tiny but has everything you need - 3 burner hob, 2 sinks, cutlery, pots, pans, spatulas, cutlery, toaster, microwave etc. Your breakfast and coffee refills can get done in a snap. The toilets are neat and very clean...the shower, geysers work, in fact all new fititngs. You get warm to hot water almost all day because of solar energy that the Nag family has invested in. The Nag's are a well known and well-respected family in Naggar and everyone knows the family. This is an obvious advantage for guests who stay here long term or for more than 2 weeks (car hiring, bike hiring etc). There is enough and more parking for your 4 wheeler vehicle inside the house perimeter with the gate shut at night...what more! In any case Kullu and Naggar included are both very safe. The market, Naggar Chawk, is walking distance from Nag's Cottage. The market is rudimentary so stock up before you reach (you get basics- butter, eggs, bread, cheese slices, daals, veggies, rice, oil... anything fancy you may not- fore.g. pasta sauce, baked beans were not available). You have some Italian joints in Naggar (they are above average but not outstanding). Just outside Naggar, about a 20 min drive from Nag's Cottage is a fantastic Italian restaurant called Pizza Olive. Awesome food... clean and super fast and very courteous, what more. If you are planning a 7+ day stay and you are fine with comfortable accommodation (not super luxury)...you have found your place. Dont even look any further and this is away from the hustle of Manali. Naggar is for the discerning traveler...not regulars looking for some quick fun...so please keep that in mind before booking. I enjoyed my stay. Good break, wholesome food and a very warm Nag family.

Hey Badal. I saw your video and liked the place. I am also planning for a 1 month stay at this place, but I am confused between the room on top and the one where you had a wonderful stay. Can you please tell me if the room on the top or its balcony is too small ?
@IAmBadalfoodie3 жыл бұрын
Hi the room on the top with balcony is small but not too much it is good for 2 ppl.

@@IAmBadalfoodie Thanks for your reply. One last question. Which room has a better view ?
@IAmBadalfoodie3 жыл бұрын
@@nikhilgiri3893 Hi, both rooms have awesome views but the one one in which I stayed has more spacious balcony so that u can roam around. In my opinion the one where I stayed has a bit of better view for everything. The above room is in isolation free from any kinda disturbance. In short it is small but beautiful. Balcony is small but the view from that balcony is also great.
