how to wear naga traditional attire especially angami's attires its names and it's uses are written in so many books if thats not the way of educating they how else can we educate them we cannot teach every1 personally . instead of defending our tradition you are criticizing.. show your comment to your parents they will be so proud of you

We should not only fights for missuses of naga tradition attires..but also make every items rate to a reasonable prices. n that should must be under nagaland govt. More over we should not focus much about our tourist experiences during hornbill festival....or our naga cuisines dishes....but we should asked about their short coming...discomforts or any difficulties during their short stay here at hornbill festival in nagaland...so that we can rectify and make necessary arrangement remedies...so that in future they find comforts... during their stay in our state.

If you buy a product with money you become the owner he or she can do whatever with it . Just like tetso sister using traditional dress for mini scart no one complain call it as fassion. Using western dress and making it from jeans to half pan and scirt must also be stop then .if you don't agree then stop selling our traditional atier for money to foreigners they don't know what its value and how to were some of them are wearing women necklace 😂😂😂 I have seen in hornbill. Yes he misused the traditional shawls...He should be punish! And also most importantly ,Some locals disrespect our traditional shawls by turning it into short skirts and other dresses .This kind of misused should be stop !

This is the reason when the seller also has very less knowledge. Buyers from outsiders doesn't have much knowledge. So any Naga who sells attire should be very cautious n let the buyers know how, when, where and gender difference to wear. Else it's taboo according to Naga tradition.

We are closed neighbours and we are all aware and must be aware about the culture and traditions of each tribe. Be it Naga, Kuki, Meitei, Mizo, Karbi, Khasi etc etc have different dresses for both genders and that should be respected. For far off tourists we should educated them how to put on before selling to them.

It the responsibility of the sellers and we, the Nagas as a whole, to educate them about how to wear the traditional attire, it is a must! And not only this, but to also let them buy it only if they respect the culture and the significance of the attire each tribe holds. Why to sell it to someone who doesn't care about it in the first place. There is a chance that there may be more people who has done this, buying those traditional attire and wearing just like how they want to wear without caring much about the norms and culture. This is an important lesson we must learn.

Stop selling our Naga traditional to non Nagas because Naga traditional attire is only for Naga's to wear.. or else after doing business better not we complaint to the one who is blind to use our attires. Instead of blaming other better complaint to the business person who solt out without educating them to use it. Find our dirt before finding others 😅

Literally people here simply commenting. "We should Educate amd teach them how to wear" come on just see what he have posted, those things are never available in shops anywhere in Nagaland. Its simply disgusting how he manage to cut the piece, utilized the traditional attire in that manner. He don't have to do that to promote our culture.

If u have a problem with how they wear then teach them how to wear before U sell them simply.We blame them for not knowing how to wear it correct but how non naga (tourists) will even know wat to do with it,,,teach them first ,,,,,if u have problem with tourist misusing attires then simply make hornbill only for Nagas or dint sell traditional attires to non naga at all

Ofcourse when it comes to maintaining our traditional clothing it can't be taken into joke, rather it something very sacred, but i dont thinks it's the culprits fault, rather we should be the one to proudly groom or guide them. Imagine this an infant child who was just brought to the world recently do we expect them to wear diaper by themselves no ryt, simultaneously if a grown man who doesn't know how to wear a cloth whom to blame the victim ryt that is what i am trying to convince. It's must be our duty to teach them to those who don't know how to address the attire. And id they don't know how to wear the seller it self should teach them proudly not just sell
