He was born in a generation in far region of Eastern Nagaland where he didn't had the opportunity to take formal education and head hunting was in the prime. Only in the later part, Missionaries brought English education with them. Though Mr. Kejong had less knowledge in formal education, yet that didn't deterred him to pursue what he wanted to achieve. He has wide experience since the time of NEFA and Wisdom is his for the past many years through which he has been winning elections. English doesn't define a person's maturity and understanding, it is just a small part in our growth story. It is fun for some when seeing this but behind that 'fun' it has many struggles which we fails to realize 😊

As a matter of fact, to be a tall leader, education doesnt come in the way as its the people and their confidence they put to choose someone or elect someone. If you are that Mr. perfect and thinks that educated ppl only shld contest the election then I dont think thats gonna b healthy...Also reason what have the educated politicians done for us too??The positive as well as the negative and dont put forth the cliche answers plz.. I have a friend from same place. And his pronunciation of "S-8" coach at Guwahati railway station was the reason why I still remember him.... eventually, he pronounced "S-8 as ASS-I"...."S-8 & Ass-I"....? It's our mother-tongue accent defaulting us not our sense & essences...

Yes he is a Naga Leader! A Naga by blood and Chang Naga by origin. Now I honestly appreciate that creator of the video he must be earning from this video which I suppose is uploaded for some obvious reasons. Anyhow in my opinion a true leadership is the ability to lead the people and its nothing more or less about the ability to speak good or bad English with that American accent. Infact he is not from Los Angeles, but he is from Nagaland our own leader, people choose him because he have the capability. Literacy came to Nagaland through American Baptist mission. For the western tribes, it’s over a century. But for the easterners literacy came only over fifty years or so. Before the coming of the American Baptist mission, Nagas were head hunters. We didn’t have any written communications. I am proud of him serving my people for decades. He is my dad’s best man. He has raised brilliant children. His children are great contributors to our people & state. My dad was same like him. My parents raised eight amazing children. All of my siblings are post graduates. Have even reached as an Indian administrative officer (IAS). I have a successful career in United States. I am very proud of him & the achievements he has accomplished. I wish him more years & success. We need leaders like him. He is a man of great Wisdom.
