All well and good. Thank you. I understand what we are NOT. What I would also like to hear somerhing about, is what we ARE. There is consciousness, there is an observer, a witness that is able to discern, and that seems to have a perspective related to «me» and my experiences. How does this conscious, discerning «self» relate to me? What is this? Nothing? I dont think so, but it is hard to find anything about this. Only what we are not. Hope this makes sense😅🇳🇴

Great Q! What IS cannot be spoken or described by intellectual understanding. Dao De Jing by Lao Tsu begins with: “What can be stated is not the Way. What can be named is not the object itself.” The Buddha’s way to realisation is to negate what is not. By weeding out all cognitive thinking, conceptualization, aeons of conditioning and mental processing, one enters into a state of no-mind and just pure awareness or be fully present in the here and now. The Hindus nicely summarised this as Sat Chit Ananda or Existence, Consciousness and Bliss (joy). This dimension transcends the human or worldly realm into the ultimate or absolute. One may “name” it Heaven, Kingdom of God, paradise, pure land, Brahman, nirvana etc where all pain and suffering disappear.

That is simply all that there is, just the awareness, but there is no you in that awareness. It is experience that experiences. What it sounds like you are questioning is the idea of conceptual consciousness, which is the understanding that our consciousness is just a mere conceptual understanding of awareness but that is still empty of self existence. Nirvana is above concepts and only an awakened being can understand reality, so for now you must meditate 🙏

I believe Quantum Mechanics plays a big role here. How is reality created is really an answer to the measurement problem in Quantum Mechanics. I believe reality cannot exist without entanglement. You see entanglement is communication beyond speed of light. So humans who live in Andomeda galaxy are entangled to humans on earth. So the flow time therefore dictates both.

If you remove the top layer of "discrimination", you're left with undiscriminated "oneness". Remove the discursive notion of oneness, and you have "emptiness." But emptiness is not a thing.

Used to think like that but its never good for life. Its good for samadi death or meditation but not good for life. Krishna the maayon preached this as its all quantum emptiness. By knowing it we can only understand everything is temporary maya and appearance so dont attached be with it. Can you say your dad or son , you dont exist and you are a maya? See it doesnt help in real life. The life given is to experience and karma correction of ones own heart not to know emptiness as it has no effect on karma. You may say life is emptiness and nothing happening but then dont live … go samadhi. The death. Evolve and live with consciousness not emptiness. The use of emptiness is destruction and consciousness is creation but we dont have any power over those two as our hearts are not transparent karma free and no access consciousness. I would not come to say to repeat books say and why should i repeat the non sense of someone elses delusions? Look within and discard those books. Your learning only starts when you solely look within not via books and preaching about how to swim without water or a swimming pool. I disagree!

@@amurugesan3913 you are talking to well informed and experienced people so dont hogwash it. It doesnt do anything and you can prove by science not by yt arguments. However your argument is a personal opinion so cant even test out or challenge in scientific labs. Emptiness wont heal anything. Its a neo law of manifestation nonsense. If you can do so, do that and also take all issues from world by going emptiness. Do you recognise the voltage of emptiness current or just a philosophical talk? Sorry i am not interested…

Emptiness means do not take life too seriously. If you objectify things, you create fixation (clinging / grasping) It is the grasping (ignorance / hatred / greed) that causes karma.

@ this is why carl jung is the answer to such. When ego is dissolved or integrated there is less resistance thus karma.
