the label "emptiness" is very misleading to western minds, or english speaking Asians. But we stuck with this legacy word. I prefer shunyata - even if Sanskrit. As it makes people more curious.

The questioner's question is legitimate on what is Emptiness? In short, Emptiness is Something, not ("nothing"), and It's nature is Sat--Chit-Ananda or Truth-Donsciousness-Bliss. The term Emptiness means empty of obscurations to That Pure Consciousness, or "Being-In-Itself"., the ultimate Essence/Source of all that exists, the Substance of the Metaverse. To tap into and merge with That Transcendental Absolute, no problem. Access "Mahamritunjaya mantra - Sacred Sounds Choir". Listen to it for 5 min per day for at least two weeks and you will experience Emptiness.

Emptiness is definitely not "something." That's the whole point of the talk, which is discussing how emptiness is not an Absolute. It is also not "nothing." It is free from the four extremes. Merely listening to a youtube video will not give you experience of emptiness. There are specific training processes for this purpose.
