it doesnt need taunt since its an infinite taunt so eventually it will help him. what it should do is give him a damage cap of 90% and for every turn hes not attacked while he has the stance up he gains all stats+10% up to 3 times

Counter meli is literally the only character that his counter card will always hit hard because it scales on how much HP the unit has lost and even one slowly increases characters HP through progression of constellations and or new character upgrades (levels, SA, holy relic)

A perfect relic for him will be taunt and increase his crit resitance ( some defences stats) and this meli will be ez meta unit. Or if no taunt give him Undead effect as long as the caunter is active
