I think they want you to play him slow in angels team and buildup stats slowly and be verry tanky i think they want to make the pvp a tanky teams meta + longer matches

No, his passive only works if there are goddess allies on the field and the dmg reduction only works if its a full goddess team which is a bit disappointing. Kinda wish it worked similar to Liz's or meli's passive so it doesn't require a full goddess team for dmg reduction.

@@floridaboidev5112 I thought that also (about escanor not being apart of the passive) but the only benefit that escanor would get is the dmg reduction as he's immune to stat decrease anyway. Unless when he eventually gets a relic, although he doesn't need one, it gives him the goddess race like freya's relic so he has a position in goddess team with mael for quick burst dmg.
