I stayed there in nov of 2019 during a wpt event. Before I committed to go I emailed the tournament director and asked if English would be the official language at the table ( English only rule) . He said it was and would be enforced. The first cash game I played I continuously got involved in pots with the same 2 Chinese guys and they would speak in mandarin every time during the hand. I repeated said something and finally the floor said something to them. It happened a few more times particularly in this one big pot that seemed like they telling each other what they had. In short , it evolved into a verbal confrontation with a little pushing and security came. I ended up getting so frustrated , so I left and didn’t play again. I ended flying to siem reap ( Angkor wat ) and continued traveling in Cambodia. I will say that nagaworld is very nice with good food options , just stay away from the shopping because it is overpriced there. Also, the casino definitely caters to the Chinese and that’s almost all you see ( at least in 2019 ) including all of the dealers. Chinese love to smoke !

Great video! I moved to Pattaya Thailand in June of '23 from Los Angeles and have really missed the Commerce Casino vibes ever since! I will be heading over soon and will see if I can make some extra scratch now that I have some poker action somewhat locally! Thanks.

Great vid. Pretty accurate vs my experience at Naga. Agree about the smoke, when youre spending hours there it really messes with your well-being. The promo for free stay is amazing. Dont forget to pick up a voucher from the poker room before checking out. Another good thing for the rewards is they build up pretty fast and can cover a lot of your meals. The food is decent and you can eat at the tables! One rule and quirk not mention is you can't do one chip all in unless the dealer hears you say all in. One thing i was expecting before i went was that most of the players would be from mainland China. That's not the case. There are people from all over and a decent amount of locals. The gym is pretty trash. Its more of a move-around-room rather than a gym. A few cardio machines, some very basic cable machines and dumbbells up to 22.5kg. No barbells, no rack.

Heh good point about the gym, Shane. Truthfully I'm biased since I'm always satisfied as long as there's a rowing machine 😅.

Brilliant video. I have been following along for a while. Such a gap in the market for this channel. Regarding the free room is there rules like you have to max buy in? I would probably buy in for 200 at the 1/3 that’s all.
@pokerroomreviews8 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you! No buy in requirements for the deal - just play 1/3 or above. But be sure to look up the promotion yourself as Ts & C's may change.

Great video!! Correct. Keep your USD, use it as if you are in the US. Beers wasn't complimentary sometime ago.

Fantastic promotion! I will come just for a free 20 day stay.

"capped at a somewhat hefty 15 percent" Did you mean 15 dollars?
@pokerroomreviews8 ай бұрын
Ooops I misspoke there - cap is $15 1/3, $20 2/5, $25 5/10.
@BlueStarLocksmithАй бұрын
When you say there is 5/10 NLH, is that $5/$10 USD equivalent? Or is it 5/10KHR?

The free stay sounds amazing! The 6 hour rule is requirement is nothing for us regulars :) Do the tables get quiet though, and the player pool? (I know we can't generalize, but just your overall impressions)
@pokerroomreviews8 ай бұрын
Hey, there's always a game, though early in the morning you might be waiting until another table gets up - but getting the six hours is easy. As for the player pool - I don't feel able to comment on the players (I made a video explaining this). What I would say in Nagaworld's case is that it's mostly foreigners - not many local Cambodians can afford to play poker in USD.

@@pokerroomreviews makes sense. Would you say mostly Chinese players? Seems there's a Chinese boom there due to all the projects and investments
@sayurnara73118 ай бұрын
So important to have tables up around the clock so you don't get tempted to play the other casino games
@kingace-by8cy7 ай бұрын
weekends all 9 tables are full with ppl waiting. week day mornings the regulars start their shift before 11am because that's when the clock starts on the 150 buck lucky draw. Weekday nights are pretty busy and you often have to wait to be seated
@kingace-by8cy7 ай бұрын
Chinese,Japanese, Koreans ,Malaysians and Singaporeans count for I'd say more than 60% Then you have Westerners for the other 40%

Very good videos. What is the few best poker rooms in europe if u wanna go to cheaper countries? So not Uk, barcelona or malta.
@pokerroomreviewsАй бұрын
Not those three? Try Tallin. It's a beautiful city, Estonians are great, and Olympic a nice place - just dress warm. I'll do reviews of Baltic rooms when I get the chance. Other than that - I have a review of D1 in Dublin on here. Great place to play.

@@pokerroomreviews I actually went to Bratislava and Vilnius. Decent casinos with good poker games 100-1000 euro tournaments if you time it with a poker festival event. City of Vilnius was very nice, would rekommend Both cities
