I started watching this video before it hit me that most of the train route was the same coastal cities and towns that were affected by the great of Tsunami March 11th. 2011. I wish to give my great Respect and Sympathy to the people of this region and to the people of Japan for helping to bring back this devastated region back to life and functioning once again. When I was first watching this video I started to notice all the construction work going on at the places this train was passing by along the coastal cities and towns. Mostly working on the costal infrastructures systems like levees and dikes and a host of other things and you could see were the old street grid systems were being repaved but the buildings were missing but along the railway line where it was route through higher terrain you could see new homes and building were being built away from the ocean, plus concrete ready mix trucks and cranes were everywhere their were population centers rebuilding and reworking the coastal barriers along the beaches and along the riverways leading inland. God Bless the people of Japan for making such a enormous come back from March 11th, 2011 and to all those affected I give my Sincere Admiration to the hardships and sorrows you were put through.
Worthy of refilming, as the pixelations proved much. 👍

Glad to see you do this one. This is such a remarkable railway and now it's one route to go all the way from Kuji to Ofunato. And what great rebuilding that has been done! I wonder, what is the electronic voice saying at each stop when the doors open?

The announcements are very much the same for each stop. Prior to stop the next station name is announced. Then which side of the rail car the doors will open. Also as this a “one man” train, no conductor, the passengers will pay their fare to the driver. So they will exit through front door near the driver. Depending on the station, the platform number is also announced.

@@DJAYPAZ Thank you, most appreciated! On some videos I do hear a small voice which I think is some sort of ticket validator or something (I did hear the regular P.A. announcements) - you can hear this voice at around 15:10 for example.
