I am a connoisseur of Carnatic classical music and had heard many senior exponents. I was trained by Late Padmabhushan Mahamahopadyaya Dr. Nookala China Satyanarayana a doyen among classical vocalists who designed an innovative style of teaching for middle aged aspirants. I had been hearing this most Enchanting and touching Kriti many a time sung by various vidwans. I am referring to NAGUMOMU GANALENI in Raagam Abheri and compared them with Charulatha's rendition. Her singing is most exquisite, mellifluous and brings out the heart rending imploration in a magnificently vivid manner beyond any comparison. Her total involvement in presenting this Kriti brings tears down my eyes and makes me feel as if I am Gajendra imploring the Lord to come down and save me.This impact and reaction are generated by the involvement dedicated in a presenting that Kriti with total devotion The tempo required is suitably maintained. The Alaapana is the crowning glory contributed to this most melodious kriti. Many kudos to Charulatha. By the way I am a senior citizen and my children are scholars.

Hi, first i want to say my thanks for such work that you have tried to translate and make it available for us. It is most required for this generation. My suggestion is to have a telugu pandit or who knowns much more about tyagaraja kritis also in this type of works. Don't take me in wrong way. I really found one place when i searched and it is your work. Now can you please check if Naga Raja dhara means?
