Ace Tesone was working, last I heard a few years ago. He played bass with the Jimmy Wisner Trio. One of the best records I ever bought was the Blues for Harvey. Might still have it!

When was this album recorded? Is this the complete LP, or were there more than these eight cuts?

It was recorded in August 1959, and released that September. There were eight tracks in all. The album was a tribute to Harvey Husten, a disc jockey who specialized in presenting jazz recordings on station WKDN in Camden, New Jersey (he was also its program director). He died on September 26, 1957, at the age of 32. Sid Mark wrote a moving tribute to him in the album's liner notes.
