Her overseas viewers went *stonks* after a mistake she made on-stream. She apparently had a male talking in the background while she was streaming, a big no-no for idol 'puritans', since idols are supposed to be some sort of untouchable goddesses. (Additional info and correction from other kenzokus: Though this is partly the reason, what made quite a sizable percentage of her fans angry was the fact that she 'lied' about the male being her manager. We have no concrete proof that this accusation is true, but still, it was such a tense situation. On one hand, it was partly due to Towa's inexperience, but on the other, preservation is a natural reaction for human beings. Thanks for the heads-up, fellow kenzokus.) The overseas bros, being open-minded degenerates, supported Towa while she was being discriminated by puritans for her innocent mistakes. At that point, more oversea bros came in Towa's streams to see her de-angelic cuteness and became failures of kenzokus similar to how Towa is a failure of a debiru. Kenzoku dropping by to share some TMT facts. Just sharing what I know, please correct me if I'm wrong, fellow kenzokus.

During an Apex livestream, just before the end of the stream a man's voice was heard (from a voice chat), and the puritans of Japan's Idol culture were enraged. Hololive members are idols (Only for some Japanese, for the rest they are comedy streamers haha) , and in Japan most female idols cannot have boyfriend or have a male friends since idol consumers want them to be "pure". For this reason, this reason Hololive members do not usually have videos interacting with men other than their audience (For now the only exceptions are Matsuri, Fubuki and the Hololive ID girls). Due to this incident, the COVER company (Hololive's owner) decided to suspend Towa for a few weeks. COVER always suspends their talents when there is a problem, since they believe that this way the public will calm down. When Towa's suspension ended, she made a video apologizing for her mistake. But the Japanese Idol Puritans started giving Dislikes to Towa videos. The foreigners were upset by the unfair Towa's suspension and when the suspension end, the foreigners were angry to see the Puritans Japanese fans upset with Towa. From that moment Towa began to receive more support from overseas bros than from Japaneses bros. Of course many Japanese support Towa as well, but they are not the puritans of the idols. I apologies for my broken English.

Innocent but snarky, but also extremely caring about her audience. She is that kind of a friend that is going to have banter with you, but also she will always make sure that are cared for. Sora is basically considered a goddess. She carried *all* of hololive for over a year as the only talent. She worked so incredibly hard, and everyone respects her so much because of it. That respect was unfortunately also a course of loneliness for a very very long time, cause exactly because she was respected so much the other girls was way humble around her and rarely messed around while she was there which caused her to feel left out. It was an unexpected surprise to see Towa as this week's feature but I'm so glad you gave her the attention. She is definitely in my Top 3 favorites at Hololive. Although her design didn't stand out to me at first, I've grown to love so much about her. The gap between her singing voice and her conversing voice is especially powerful. Also, if I had to fight the fan clubs of the different Vtubers, Towa's Kenzokus would definitely worry me the most. :)

On the topic of 3D debuts, Watame is one that hit me hard. She shares a lot how she wanted to go down the path of a singer and make it to budoukan (the big stage for musical artists) but it didn't work out for her and it would make her depressed thinking about it. Watame singing her own original song in front of a crowd was a big moment for her and she couldn't sing it without her voice quivering hard in fear and crying as she sang, it was like a fulfillment of her dream singing in front of a big crowd.

Towa's 3D debut was amazing. She was scheduled to debut hers last and, intentionally or not, that was probably the best decision. Coco opened it up strong with her 3D debut and then Towa had a very emotional ending for the Gen 4 3D debuts. I still tear up watching her sing Error during that stream, it was such a great moment and one of the best moments in all of Hololive, IMO. And yeah, Towa got her sizable kaigainiki following after the Apex debacle back in April? if I remember right. Before then her chat was almost entirely JP like everyone else's, but after that you could see a clear shift towards English and it's stayed that way since. She actually has so much of an English following that I was concerned she may get a viewership hit after HoloEN debuted, but it seems that wasn't the case.

Towa has plenty of overseas viewer was due to a mistake she made in the past. it was relatively soon after her debut that it happened thats why she had one of the roughest start of the 4th gen. The mistake she did was when she was playing Apex, and was about to end stream, she usually had in game voice off but for some reason, when she ended stream, a guy's voice was heard in the Background when her stream ending card was showing. Japanese idol purists got really mad about it and several of them left, but overseas viewers having a different viewpoint when it comes to relationships was wondering whats so wrong. so when that happened, overseas fans came to support her while a bunch of japanese fans left her. This is one of the reasons she has so much overseas viewers. Some fans(mostly overseas) decided to investigate a little bit to the BG voice. The voice said something in an asian language and some people went to translate it and came to a conclusion it was the randoms in the in game voice. So thats the reason i think she has a higher percentage of overseas viewers.

The best singer in hololive, and that's saying a lot when considering they have a+ singers like suisei, sora, azki, kanata, okayu, flare, ect. In the group as well. She's so criminally underrated. And as for why she mainly has western fans and smaller fanbase than her peers is because there was a male voice in the background of one of her streams and mixing of the sexes is a major taboo in japanese idol culture(that she's ok and wasn't hunted down and still has this job is a miracle)

From a technical perspective there are probably some girls that are more technically gifted. When she’s doing it live she definitely can have some pitch problems from time to time. But I absolutely adore the tone of her voice, and it’s power. If she was able to clean up the technical side she’d easily be one of if not the best singers for sure.

Towa has so many voices, so many vocal ranges, and her singing voice is the best voice I've ever heard. She does many cute voices in streams which makes her so adorable. In the lastest Among Us stream, when she was impostor, she fixed all the light sabotage asap and everyone calls her the 8th crewmate (3-imposter game), much angel for a devil.

He wasn't exaggerating when he said that getting a 3D debut is their moment in the spotlight. For that stream, Hololive as a company is focused around them. No one else is allowed to stream at the same time. Anyone who is live before it will end their stream early, often including a shoutout telling their own viewers to go watch the debut. And each one of them is more than willing to do so, because they all understand how important it is.
