Nahko Bear-ing the weight of the collective shadow on his steady shoulders. Nahko was an idol of mine before the scandal. After the scandal, he became my savior. We are all subject to an arbitrary thrown-ness into our lot in life. We do not choose the energies we are concocted of, nor are we born aware of what those are. Particularly the forces that live in the shadows of our/the unconscious. Nahko showed me how one embraces the reality of the shadow to transcend it. That we are all worthy of forgiveness. And that one cannot truly live until they have died. My inner child was wounded, and it lashed out in my youth under the influence of alcohol, and traumatized me and others to my core. Generational trauma is no joke. And when it takes hold of a young, naive spirit early its evolution…I was ready to die. At the very least, certainly ready to never look myself in the eye again. The idea of self-respect or redemption was pitifully laughable. But as our dear brother bear tells us, once you know, you effing know. And once you know, you are done being a sheep. So what’s it gonna be then? Wolf in sheeps clothing? Or sheepdog? Well, i say to the fellow sheepdogs…Masculinity is being attacked. And worse, repressed. And that’s how you create wolves in sheeps clothing. And the poor wolves won’t know they’re wolves until it’s too late. Thank you Nahko, for walking the walk. Showing us that there is absolutely a path forward. And no matter how your awareness has been obtained, it’s your divine responsibility to walk the walk. Walk the Word. Learn. Grow. Integrate. Train. And for the love of God, forgive the inner child. I am proud of the person i am today. And i will grind my soul against the forces of evil until i return to dust. I will not feel sorry for myself. I will not allow shame to drag me into the abyss. I will stand tall, educate, evolve, pray for guidance, and hunt dragon after dragon. Thank you Nahko for showing a courage i didn’t believe was possible. The true learn that the tree whose branches reach to heaven also have roots that extend to hell. On behalf of idgaf who else, Nahko, i love you, i forgive you, i am proud of you, and i stand with you. Thank you for breathing new life into my soul. The medicine will continue to spread through this vessel.

After hearing Nahko, I realised I’ve never actually liked music before. I remember it was the first time my soul - the real part of me - enjoyed music. It was so emotional, it was so … joyful? I feel weird even saying it! My ego is cringing lol… But it made me realise I have programming and my actual self, and sparked my spiritual journey to begin. What a strange thing. But, even so, I’m immensely grateful for his soul, who spoke to mine (and likely many others) through ways I cannot understand as a human, and nudged me onto a path I didn’t expect. Infinite gratitude to the higher part of yourself for showing me, and infinite gratitude to the programming of yourself because if your ego didn’t want to be seen, perhaps I never would have seen lol. Ty for helping me heal here at my parents house where I had my dark night if the soul mushroom 🍄 journey years ago. I was in a ball on the floor in fetus position. Feeling burried in darkness. All the sudden my phone came on by itself on to youtube playing one of ur video where ur walking through Colorado mountains and people are around and start following u. And I began to stand up and feel better and then started dancing. Spirit used u to pull me out of it Me who travels the country praying over water and people. Saw this video pop up on my KZbin feed and I'm A Spiritual man and Honor The Creator. This bear man I know nothing about but he seems to be highly respected and thought well of and also criticized. I know nothing about bear but it seems to me many are viewing him as a messiah like figure or a savior and this video looks alot like a cult. I mean all humans want to belong and the word "cult" is often frowned upon and used negatively. But like I said, all humans want to belong and I see religion as a giant cult etc .. Don't put your hopes and confidence in a mere man. Bear is just a man and a mortal just like you and me. You and me and bear are all equal and one is not more special than the other. Don't put your faith in a man but put your Faith and Trust in The Creator, The Great Spirit.

I really used to like him until I heard about all the sexual abuse and misconduct incidents from countless women. I feel like he even told us, dont follow me. I feel like he is lost and doesn’t truly live out what he preaches. The way he has treated women is just repulsive. I just can not go along with it. It’s upsetting to me because I used to really respect him and look up to him. I feel lied to and betrayed. But I suppose his music doesn’t have to be true for it to help people. Every time he shows up in mu feed I get excited and then disappointed. Total bummer
