After I understood the meaning of the song I must say it is one of the best songs I have heard in my life, I listen to the song almost every day at least a few times!!! Many thanks to everyone who took part in making this song, thank you!!!

As an adopted Ethiopian boy in America, I am surrounded by American people. But I kept my Ethiopian language and culture so close. Now, I am grown up and have my own apartment and unfortunately here in America your neighbor usually complains when you open laud music. So, I played Dishta Gina laud on the speaker dancing and singing at the same time. So, two white American neighbors showed up at my door. I told them right away that I was sorry and that I will turn the volume down. Their answer, "oh no we don't you to turn it down, we just want to know the name of the song." I invited them into my apartment and showed them the whole music video, and they start dancing with me. Just wanted to say.... THE POWER OF OUR ETHIOPIAN CULTURE!

Let me break it down to you in French brother.

He's singing about his life as a Ethiopian soldier, who became a day labourer after and then homeless. He sings about leaving the big city of Addis to become a farmer in the village that raises him but when he returns to his village the elders don't respect his soldier hairstyle. So the he sings about living near the village in the forest with his children. He is trying to use his own life story to encourage peace beyond different ethnicities, races, tribes and religion

I found this in the comment section from guy named Solomon, the lyrics below are the amharic part of the song, the song is using 2 languages (Ari) and (Amharic), glad you liked the song❤️ Me and Adam( my father) You and Eve (my bone)--he points his index finger towards his ribs[ reference to the Bible]. I came naked to this world and leave with nothing. There is no best Ethnic group/race amongst ourselves.. Where does this Evil came from, we are all one. Look up the sky, no one washes it or cleans it but it is amazingly beautiful. It is here on Earth that "We do not have LOVE". GOD judges you for what you did on earth. You do not get salvation before God based on your Ethnicity/race. You came from there, I came from there, We all came from there, We are all one(This is where he grasps his chest) We are scattered all over the world after the fall of Babylon from God's grace. To this day, we do not have a true love. no matter how we sing about it. What should we do ? GOD judges you for what you did on earth. You do not get salvation before God based on your Ethnicity/race./2/

@@brahimbelhaj3538 Unfortunately, I don't have any video of it for the moment. I just started being interested about the Berber people because here in Europe where I live, the moroccans keep telling me all time that I look like the Berber people. And, I started my investigation in Ethiopia and the only information I've for the moment is that, effectively they immigrated from Agew. Ethiopia is a country of more than 80 different ethnic groups, each of them with their own language and culture. But what I've noticed is that, the culture of the Berber people has special similarity with the people of the northern part of Ethiopia. One of the reasons why I want to visit Morocco is to know more about them in first hand.

Amazigh people are native Africans. They originated around Ancient Egypt and Lybia. As a cyclical cultural continuity, many people in the Sahara region have ancient Historical contacts. Even with this diverse sparse land. People have traded / traveled and influenced one an other since antiquity. In ancient time trans-Saharan traders used to navigate from the tip of Somali-land up to the riff atlas mountain. Many Western Historians now a days like to to ignore this fact, There was a trade route named " Neqada Behir ", which traders from Mediterranean, Red sea and Atlantic ocean used to meet. Still the significant impact and the clear trace they made is un-deniable. P.s. It is better if you don't use the name "Berber" to refer your self. The more acceptable term should be Amazigh / Imazighen or any of your tribe name. The term Berber/Barabarian is derogatory word given to them by Europeans.

At 01:17 "Dishta Gina, Dishta Gina; Gail babo, Dishta Gina Barged babo, a Dishta Gina Sida babo, irar Dishta Gina Seiti babo, irar Dishta Gina Teyye babo, irar Dishta Gina Baka babo, irar Dishta Gina Huba babo, hura Dishta Gine Laide babo, hura Dishta Gine Woze babo, hibaa goyse akka Arit Dishta Gine Arit Dishta Gine" My favorite section.
