My wife and I are so enjoying Pastor Paul's teaching. We are going thru Kings and minor Prophets and are learning so much. I came accrossed him by accident, and am so thankful we did. Blessings to you Pastor Paul. If we are ever in Oregon we will stop in to give you a hug. We are from Ontario, Canada.

If you're struggling with how God can he good and wrathful / vengeful at the same time, read Isaiah 55:8-9. Pastor Paul nailed he when he said God ways better be hard to grasp.

There is this false notion of God. God is a God of love but also of wrath and judgment. God is supremely merciful but those who continuously reject and choose evil become His enemy.

Thank you! I love your channel, your insights into the history of the Bible bring it to life and allow me to understand more deeply. Thank you for shining a light on Gods word, and onto the meaning of the jealousy and wrath of God. I confess as a new Christian and student of the Bible, the main things I always resisted about Christianity was the whole idea of forgiveness because that didn’t seem just and right to me… the concept that one man can spend a life in sin without abandon and on his dying breath repent and be saved the same as another who spent a life striving for righteousness and walking closely with the Lord. That and the descriptions of God as vengeful, jealous etc. Thank you ❤

Thank you for the clarification of God’s jealousy. I was always confused about that. “Jealousy without sin”. I see God fiercely protective of what is His.

Jealous means fiercely protective of one’s possessions. Ortlund’s definition is spot on.
Thank you so much Pastor Paul. You are truly anointed by the Lord. I appreciate you taking your time to explaining G_D'S words. You are truly blessed by the Best Hashom. When I was in conformation class, my sister explained the Trinity to me that made so much sense when they were celebrating Easter and she said why they used the eggs for coloring was like the Trinity. She said the egg has the hard sell which is G_D and the whitening which is Jesus our savior and the yolk which is the Holy Spirit and it made so much sense to me as why they celebrate Easter eggs. I really love this explaination of the Trinity and wanted to share. G_D bless you.

Amen. Please pray for Kansas. Her death knell was rung two days ago and it's been a sad time for all who value the sanctity of His creation, a human's LIFE, created in His image. Besides the amendment not passing, a lot of local churches have been horribly vandalized with vile graffiti and more. Thank you.

I find PSA Penal substitution Theory of the Atonement a misplacement of Wrath. Because if Wrath was completely satisfied then why is there still Wrath to come at the end times. Think people calls this double jeopardy. The Wrath is at the end. The Cross was all about Love, a rescue Mission. Ransom theory! The Lion, the Witch, and the Warbrobe. That's my take. God Bless 🙏 I do enjoy learning from your ministry

Ouch this is so true about the divorce issue. I'm so guilty and my first husband was physically abusive a cheater and a drug user for 13 yrs and my sister's keep saying to leave but I stayed until enough was enough and now I finally remarried with a Son of G_D and I pray I will not have to go back to my first husband. Pastor , and apostle , Paul my brother , what does it mean when you call Nahum a ( minor ) prophet Wally from Michigan .
@CalvaryChapelOntario2 жыл бұрын
Hello Wally. Pastor Paul didn't refer to Nahum as a minor prophet. He said that this book (not the person) is considered one of the "minor prophets" because of its size relative to the longer prophetic books like Jeremiah, Isaiah, etc. You can message Pastor Paul directly at paul@ccontario.com.

Someone had to be punished so he punished his son. Any reference to the crucifixion goes way above my head it's disgusting to me I take it literally people are using it as a symbol no I am just an overly sensitive person I find it disgusting I don't care how you put it
