A lot of Nigerians doesnt even know how good iwobi was....and talking about favours got him there. iwobi was good enough to play for super eagles and has always been there to serve when called upon. and he's still a good player. this last afcon doesnt define his full potential....you cant always be 100% in football.

One thing i realize in the match Kelechi Ihanacho as a freekick taker, and the strength of our midfield, supper eagles really need to work on our midfield department, trim down the forward attackers so as to accomodate more competition in d midfield, also apart from Kelechi, the other forwards including Osimhen who is d best are box to box strikers, no shot taker from outside

The problem with Kelechi is that he has a very low workrate. Poor man marking abilities. Playing him in the midfield is playing short one !

Gernot Rohr is still a better coach when compared head to heaad with Peseiro. NFF need to bring stability to the team by hiring quality coaches and giving them time say a period of 5 years to build the strength of the team in all it's department. If only corruption can be rooted out and we have leaders with sefless service I forsee a better men and women national team in the nearest future.

The NFF should organise a testimonial for the super eagles ex goal keepers, such as Vincent Inyeama, Ike shoronmu, Peter Rufai,Allosious Agu and so on. Those ex internationals in that department are mostly poorly treated! NFF should re-trace their steps.

I think Uzoh has a eye defect called shortsightedness. He does not see the ball from a long distance. As he grows older, the defect is becoming apparent. Check all the haulers he commited. They are all from long distance shots. He needs medical help, please.

I feel he was played out or position in this just concluded AFCON tbh. Poseiro as a coach has the duty of determining the strenghts and weaknesses of each and every player in his team because no one player has it all. The change of formation from a 4-3-3 to a 3-5-2 (ie 5-3-2 when defending) was an SOS move because of the loss of Ndidi whom is just about the engine room of our midfield. Iwobi has never been a CM, he doesn’t necessarily have the skillset for it, he’s more suited playing as an AMF positioned infront of a CM and a DM (who both do the dirty work and distribution) while he as an AMF links up directly with the striker and can also finish as the situation arises.
