I have something similar nade by safety seal plug kit had it for 35 years works every time, only difference the tool with needle that is used to push plug in tire has a round cylinder around the needle so when plug is pushed in all way then you hold cylinder against tire then pull out needle that keeps plug in place then just cut little remaining plug works great having the cylinder on the needle helps much keeping plug in the tire while pulling needle out & plug separates itself from tool then you can cut the remaining of plug that sticks out.

ive also used a glue during insert in the past but this kit didnt have it. T handle works way better over the screwdriver style handle
