Nail length for vinyl siding using the Dewalt cordless roofing nailer DCN45RN with siding spacer

Remember, when using the Siding Adapter Tip. ONLY use 1 3/4” roofing coil nails as shorter damage will cause inconsistency and may damage the adapter due to the longer flight path. The roofing coil nails are available in hot-dipped galvanize, electro-galvanized and stainless steel depending on your region and the what you require.
These hot-dipped galvanized are from Bisset Fasteners.

About to use this gun for siding through 15/32 plywood and 7/16 t1-11 smart side shed panels.. what mail length would u recommend to penetrate to the stud securely or would I have to get a dewalt pneumatic siding nailer…. If u can please tell me ????

Yes but this is for general use as in majority of the time this will be standard because this gun doesn’t fit much other lengths

@@SEBluegrasswe use Prime and Bissett (only available in Canada). All roofing coil nails are 0.12 shaft thickness. You might be looking at siding nails which should be used for vinyl. Use roofing coil nails.
