I love when a polish can be worn anytime! I say “can” very loosely because obviously we can wear whatever we want whenever we want 😬

I think it's totally fine to wear the polishes you mentioned in the fall. That said, I think they also work for spring! I've noticed I have some polishes in my collection that are dusty and work for fall, but also light enough that they also work for spring.

I think so too! And also depending on your mood. I had pulled the EDM onto my spring rack and wore it but did not like it and couldn’t figure out why. Because it was dusty and I just wasn’t feeling it in the moment but didn’t realize it until I was wearing it and not liking it 😂

I wear what I want to, when I want to. Im not a seasonal polish person. Yes, I would wear that polish.

I do for the most part too if I really want to (like the dark grey polish I just wore despite it being summer). But I am often affected by the seasons, even though we don’t have true seasons in Florida. But I feel in the mood for certain colors seasonally

I always freak out with my purples. Because I’ve always heard people complain that they’re purple space and I’ve been very lucky that a lot of my purples have not faded however, some have in recent years and what gets to me as the ones that have in recent years aren’t even that old to my collection. So I am definitely going to start trying to, watch my collection as they come in so that way I can have a fresh swatch stick polish. I used to do that and then I stopped and now gonna start doing it again.

Yes seems like my new ones are fading. I had two zoyas fade after only having them for one year!!

Purple is my favorite color and it would be difficult for me to declutter any, but the ones you decluttered are ones that don't appeal to you. I love the L'Oreal Souffle shade; it's unfortunate that the shades in that beautiful bottle shape weren't sold in the U.S., or at least I haven't seen them. I don't like it when polishes fade; it happened to my China Glaze Lotus Begin. It's great that you kept most of your purples. TFS!

I have never seen the L’Oréal polishes in states! My friend Olga sent me a few from another country. The few I have are really nice!

Yey purples! I always think purple is my least worn because it's kinda Mr Loopyfrog's colour, and yet I am obsessed with lavender, lilac, blurples... lol. To me "I am What I Amethyst" and "Emerson" aren't *that* close - the OPI has more blue in it imo. You may be surprised when you compare them side-by-side! 7 is great, way to go!

I have compared them before! I personally am happy to have them both 😆 mine are also both old and have likely faded to be more similar to each other then initially

Is Taupe a shade of purple? I've always included it with browns and neutrals

Taupe is usually a browny grey or a bit of purply grey. Most of mine seem to have a drop of purple in them. I think they’d fit into my brown drawer too

@@NurseJackie2582 right. Like I have Kokie's London Fog, and while I do put it with my softer browns, sometimes I look at it and think, "Do I have you in the right category?" lol

Exactly! Taupe is actually a bit tricky to categorize
