When doing a glitter or really dark enhancement on nails, I noticed that some techs will lay a very thin foundation first then do color, glitter ect. Then do an overlay of clear or whatever. Is it better to lay a thin foundation of clear so when the client comes back for a infill or color change it’s much easier? Of course that’s assuming they’re coming back.

I have a question, I use your products, especially your speed clear acrylic for everything, but what I'm running into is my brush getting clogged so quickly and the liquid becomes thicker/murky too, I assume adding to how quickly my brush clogs, I try to make sure I wipe my brush often while working, and try to keep a wetter consistency when using the clear..... I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to get the core clear and see if that helps... I don't have this issue with your other base shades. Maybe I just work to slow for the speed variety lol
@lunarlightdesign30233 жыл бұрын
Great art AND you throw in some timely fundamentals. Perhaps not the place to ask... I’ve been searching the videos... people keep telling me about contact allergies with monomer and gel. I’m careful but I don’t fully understand the parameters: working on the practice hand, I sometimes accidentally brush the skin area with monomer. Or when applying product to myself to test, a bead will run onto my skin before I can push it back. Then there’s the dust... Aaah, I don’t know what’s correct or what to worry about.

Wow this nail is so beautiful. What do you think about using c curve sticks? I don't see many people using them.

It’s a preference. Tracey likes using the magic wand and Greg likes c curve sticks😊

@@youngnailsinc great sense of humor but it's an actual question that I'm interested to hear what Greg thinks about this particular tool.
@ghsalo3 жыл бұрын
They are great to use if you want perfect c curves every time. We used to have them in the line. They aren’t as popular as in the past.
@mariahjane79693 жыл бұрын
@@ghsalo I think they're pretty handy and I learned about them from watching an old school tech. Anyhow thank you.
@mariahjane79693 жыл бұрын
@@ghsalo hey I was still thinking about this topic and I realize these items aren't going to make you a million but I do believe if you introduced them there would be an interest among the beginners community. I found it difficult to create all five forms the same and these upped my game and then after I removed the form to be able to form around them was really cool. It's just a thought.

Are the Mylar hard plastic pieces or soft bendable cellophane

The mylar is very thin and bendable but the confetti's are thicker and less flexible.

LOVED this video that nail is GORGEOUS 😍 I bought your trial gel kit and in it I received the Ultimate Finish Gel Sealer but I've noticed it causes the nails to yellow ..... 😢 Am I doing something wrong??

How many hours does it take to do a full set of plain acrylic nails?
@youngnailsinc3 жыл бұрын
It depends. Tracey, for example, could probably do it in 30 mins. We have a video series called Real Time if you want to check it out. We show how long it takes to do different sets in real time.
