Thank you for this incredible video. Just one question please - I noticed you used protein bond. Was there a reason you didn't use primer and base coat after nail prep?
@youngnailsinc8 ай бұрын
Protein bond is our non-acid primer. You don’t need to use another one with it. Also , there is not a base coat required before applying acrylic on the nails.
@cmayo56594 жыл бұрын
Is there acrylic in the glitter? Did you say do not file a plastic tip? If this was done on a full cover nail would you file the nail? Would you put a thin layer of acrylic before doing the flowers on a full cover nail or do them straight on the nail? Ty! I have never done any 3D, I bought a 3D brush that's calling my name, this video is exactly what I needed to see! Great view of the tip/C curve! I appreciate seeing what yours look like! 👍

Since you ve made this set on tracey on a " how much" series i was in love with this design and startet practising. This technik is explained so good and makes it so easy , so that i can do it now. Thanks therefor. I have a white acrylic with sparkles in it and omg this looks so stunning. Every bride wants this nails😃i wish i could order yn products but the taxes may be way too high to ship to Europe i guess. Thanks ; Greg , for all this " free" education. It helped me so much. You are an AWESOME nailtech / nailmaster. You really are! Great idol . When i look on the nails i ve made 2 years ago and the nails i make today. Wow! It is like day and night. It really depends on experience. Once you understand technik , archidekture and all that it all makes sence. I am wondering if it is possible doing those flowers / similar design with polygel.

How long did it take you to master this? I'm curious bcs I'm feeling frustrated (i started today and of course didn't come out right 🙃)
@youngnailsinc2 жыл бұрын
3D is a very detailed skill. It may take some time and practice until you feel comfortable! Don't get frustrated! One of the biggest challenges people tend to have is that they use too big of a brush and pick up too much product. Start with very small pearls and we recommend using the YNI Gel Sculptor if you are a beginner. Just make sure to have a separate brush that you use for 3D acrylic (don't use the same brush for your gel applications).
@User729__p2 жыл бұрын
What size brush would YN recommend using to create 3D flowers?
@youngnailsinc2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, our 3D art brush is discontinued. You can use our gel sculptor brush as an alternative. It is a size 5. www.youngnails.com/products/yni-gel-sculptor

Which drill bit should we use to remove acrylic?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
We like our coarse safety bit or x-cut bit.
@ashleylujan5430 Жыл бұрын
You mention *the acetone at 12:20, can you explain further?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
You can add a few drops of acetone to your monomer when doing the flowers only as it will help set the acrylic up a bit faster. You don't want to do this for any other part of acrylics because it could mess with the integrity of the enhancement.

@youngnailsinc2 жыл бұрын
The brush he uses to sculpt the nail is Greg's Signature Brush but the one he uses for the 3D art has actually been discontinued. We still have our Gel Sculptor which is very similar and works great for 3D acrylic designs. Just make sure to use it for either acrylic or gel, but do not use it for both so the products stay separate. www.youngnails.com/products/yni-gel-sculptor?_pos=24&_sid=c33eacb2b&_ss=r
