Thanks so much for watching, Michelle!! Yes, one of my subscribers asked me to try the nail strips! I was happy to give them a try 😊

I truly appreciate that she did this. I was the one who asked her if she had ever tried them or if she would try them and give us all a review.

Lisa you are the best!!! thank you so much for actually buying them and making this video. You even mentioned my name I am flattered! I will admit that the press on nails seem to be much easier then this. I did see another girl use these and she had longer nails and she said she loves the strips and she even said that sometimes she will buy the glue on nails (plain ones) and before she glues them on she uses these nail strips on top of the glue on nails. I think they look pretty on you but I also agree with you the press on nails are much easier. You are truly the best!!!

Yay! I'm so glad that you saw the video, Julie 😊 I really loved giving the nail strips a try. I think I might try the red ones on the clear glue on nails just to see how they do on a nicely shaped long nail. Or, I might try the cheetah strip as an accent nail on of the glue on nails. We'll see! I will definitely do it in a video!! Thanks for watching, Julie!!

I have a few recommendations. I have those same exact ones on my nails as we speak & it's been 2weeks yesterday. 1. after you cut/ perp nails,its best to use acetone /nail polish remover & wash your hands with soap and water. 2. After washing hands it's best to still use alcohol pad or regular alcohol to clean nails again 3. I wasn't told this but I realize I was able to and did stretch the nail strip a little bit to fit the whole nail in the corners. 4 it's two ways to file the extra off. both ways work but what worked best for me was to cut the strip then file. 5.get some gel clear polish top coat and apply to strips after you place the strips on. Then cure under a light I promise you it was the best common-sense decision I made. I almost forgot when you put the strips on and you pressing it down to make it stick to your nails, its good to use a cuticle stick to mash the edges down and get it nice and under your skin and flatten.

Hey Jasmine! Wow, great info. It's so good to hear what others are doing to make their nails look amazing! Thank you for all of these tips 😊 I was thinking that I might try the strips again on some Kiss glue on nails, so I'll need all the tips I can get!! Thanks for watching!!

Hi Lisa, I loved this video. I wear Color Street Nail Strips but am thinking I might change to what you are using. I don't find the nail strips to last like I want them to unless I take extra care to apply them at night and let them set onto the nail all night long. Problem is I can't see that well at night and always make mistakes. Lol! Take care!

lol! Don't you just love it 🤓 Without my readers I can see a thing up close! You will have to let me know if you give the imPRESS nails a try. I love them! Great way to have a beautiful manicure without the wait time and the $$ 😊 Thank you for watching!!

Lisa. Loved the video! I was going to try the nail strips but like you have decided that they're not for me. I prefer a longer nail and I love the Impress press ons. Trouble is, I live in New Zealand and in my town there are only three colors available! Thanks again!
@BestLifeLee3 жыл бұрын
Hi Eve! So glad that you loved the video 😀 How's the weather in New Zealand this time of year? Can you order from Amazon where your are? If so, you can get imPRESS nails on line. Also, you can order directly from imPRESS. That's where I get a lot of my nails! A girl needs more than three colors!! 💖

My nails are too weak, so the strips never last as long as they should. I’ve tried using gel polish with them and a few other tips and tricks to no avail. I love press ons, they’re the only thing that lasts on my nails, other than acrylic, which is a pain to upkeep.
@BestLifeLee2 жыл бұрын
Hi Leonessa! I think that is the problem with these nail strips for me. I don't like the shape of my natural nails, so I don't enjoy the nail strips as much as I love the press ons or glue on nails. I used to get acrylic nails at the salon and gel as well, but I don't like wasting the hour it takes to get them done, and the $$ it costs to keep them looking good. I find the acrylic nails in the salon damage my nails, too. Long live the press on nail 😀

I ordered the same ones I bought the O.P.I. in Petal Pink, and a few others, and I also ordered the same exact Couture ones. Lisa you have me hooked on the press on nails. You will love the O.P.I. colors they are beautiful!! I agree with you lets stick to the press on nails. I can't grow my nails to save my life. They are very thin and end up splitting and tarring on me. Now that I have found you and these Impress press on nails I am saving a ton of money not going to the salon getting the gel dip powder anymore. I have say that Dashing Diva has some nice press on nails too. You should see my collection. I will have to take some pictures and show you. Getting back to the nail strips I guess they are good if you already have long nails. I saw one girl who has longer nails and she applied the strips and then she kind of tucked the strip under her nail and used a cuticle cutter and snipped the rest of the strip off. It looked very pretty, but I am with you it's press on nails for me too. Once again, thank you for making the video.

It was my pleasure, Julie! If you have other ideas for future videos, I'm all for it! So glad that you love the imPRESS like I do! It's such a great way to have pretty manicures for less and they are so quick! I might try the Dashing Diva press ons. I'll have to check that out. Thanks again for always watching 😊

Mines lasted 14 days and they look just as if I put them on the first day and I've got a three-year-old and do a lot of cleaning. if you do those steps it last longer I found reading the instructions completely helped me and also having my own little ideas to make it last

Thanks so much for these great tips, Jasmine! Just seeing your comment, now. I do have some more of these nail strips, so I might give them another try 😊

I too prefer the impress nails over the gel strips. It’s just so much quicker. And though my natural nails will grow very long without breaking they don’t have a nice shape to them. They curl upward and I’ve never seen anyone else with that problem. I’m so glad they have solid colors now so cute! Just an FYI the ones that aren’t opi are cheaper. Impress has their own brand of colors and they also partnered with opi. I don’t think it makes sense though because both have the same exact colors and they just charge more for the OPI ones.
@BestLifeLee3 жыл бұрын
Oh, really? I wondered why some were just color and some were labeled OPI. Good to know! The new color ones don't stick as good as the other imPRESS. I'm hoping they'll fix that! I just glue mine back on, so it's not a problem, but I hardly ever lost nails, before! Thanks so much for watching 😊

Oh I feel like they stick better. I’m a dog groomer too and they don’t budge with my hands always in water and getting bit and stuff. I do use a base coat before hand. Maybe that’s why?
@BestLifeLee3 жыл бұрын
@@shenalee5572 What type of base coat do you use?? A base coat of glue?? I will definitely try this on my next video!! Please do let me know.
@shenalee55723 жыл бұрын
I use the Essie one. It’s a treatment so not really a base coat but it works as one. You could really use whatever one you prefer. And I do tuck them under my cuticle and that also helps keep the cuticle from lifting and getting caught in your hair.
@BestLifeLee3 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! This is perfect. I will definitely use a base coat next time I apply a set of imPRESS nails. Look for a shout out in one of my future videos 😉 I film a week or two in advance, so my next couple of nail videos have already been filmed! I have a subscriber who always asks me how not to get them caught in her hair! Now I know what to tell her 😊Thanks so much Shena Lee!!

Wouldn’t nail polish do the same thing?
@BestLifeLee3 жыл бұрын
Hi Martie! Nail polish takes time to dry and can smudge, which is why I don't like to use nail polish on my nails. Plus, I don't like how my nails look when I try to file them myself, which is why I like the Press-ons so much! They look like a professional manicure, but without spending all that time at the salon or incurring the high cost.😀
