This would be SUPER cool on a beach-themed nail! Imagine painting the base of the nail to look like water at the edge of the sand and then using white polish to do the bubble effect so it looks like sea foam. Add a few tiny pearls or maybe some little shell-shaped nail decor too.

I did this on a client a few weeks ago and I used a light blue base with a white top and it looked like actual bubbles! It's such a simple and cute design to do!

Ahhh thank you! I had struggled with these before so knowing to stick the whole finger will make it easier. I had used sticks and other methods but didn’t really think of dipping my finger lol but tha am for the tips will definitely try and hopefully they come out legit :)

Read my comment, it's even easier. Just use a bottle. Then you can squeeze it out on the nail. I learned the hard way.....😀

I encapsulate it with a clear acrylic! It gives it s 3D affect and you won't have the roughness, but you must put a thicker layer of gel! I also put some coloured glitter underneath! So much one can do! 💕💅🇿🇦🥰

So, I tried it with white on blue and blue on white. I mixed them with top coat to make them more transparent, and did multiple layers in some areas. I also filed some of the rough ones back a bit before top coating. There's some hologram glitter in with a few, too. The result is that blue over white looks more snow like. The white over blue is more frosty. I have photos, but don't know how to post. This is a neat trick!

Like the way the thumb-nail looked like, with the thicker gel-polish coat on it! I wonder, if you can do like a chrome-shine gelpolish underneath and then a thicker layer of another color on top, do the bubbles and then have the chrome shine through the holes the bubbles left in the polish? Or instead of one layer of one color, do like rainbow colored stripes on the nail as a top layer, add the bubbles and "nuke it". I wonder what that would look like. Lots of possibilities 😊
