I just had to tell you, I’m in love with your EZ gel and your nail forms are the best ever! Soon I’m going to order your acrylic nail kit to practice. I’m not sure if I’ll ever master that (I’m too slow!), but it will be fun learning, on fake fingers of course. I also love your alcohol dispenser, it has an old fashion look to it and none of the alcohol dispensers I’ve had allow a little fluid out to dip your brush in the top like yours does. I just ordered this kit! I’m so excited to receive it all the way in Columbus, Ohio 😅 You are my favorite nail technician to watch and learn from. Cameraman always makes my day lol. I have only tried builder in a bottle that is a bit too runny for my speed or hybrid gels that are too stiff because I’m not great at forming without the need to file. So I am excited to try glass nails next. Your kit and video seems like this will be my favorite way to make nails on myself 🤞 Thank you for always sharing your expertise and reminding us to feel at ease while learning. Hey Susie! I’ve done a few sets with inlays, similar to the set in the video, but I’ve always been unsure about how to remove them? I know that a lot of beads and rhinestones etc. are made of resin and it’s not good to file them off, which is why you’d typically nip them off before filing, but how do you do that when they’re inlaid? In the past I’ve just sat there for hours soaking them off 😅

What if you painted the black polish on cured gel so it is a hard surface. It would be easier to paint. Then do a swirly lumpy 1st layer and paint up and down in the hills and valleys, that would make it really 3 dimensional.

It’s a timing thing - acrylic may cure before you can a chance to create it/ but certainly worth a try

Lovely nails. I have a question. My sister used to get acrylic mails, then she got an allergic reaction. Bubbles/blisters, small ones appeared all over her fingers, and it was so itchy her hands would turn red. We switched to gels. She is getting the itches again. She takes Benadryl for it. After a few days then itchy goes away. The last time I did her nails, I was very careful with the alcohol. I even had her wash her hands right after. She got itchy again but at the top of her in the knuckles. Can this be because the UV lamp? Would protection gloves help? Ive never had anyone be allergic to product. Especially gel. Thanks in advance.

@@NailCareerEducation Holo Taco has a ton of cool stuff to go in a ring - BUT what immediately came to mind was to make thin rings in each individual color of a collection - think the barista collection, 5 shades from lightest to darkest on each nail, and 5 rings in each color, mixed up and stacked on whatever fingers you choose :). How awesome would this be with the three new “royalty” colors? Or what about the unicorn skins & iridescent shimmers? A few color ombré would be incredible! Also? Teeny tiny rainbow sprinkles! Like, the little caviar beads, but rainbow.

I adore watching you! My mom was a nail tech for years and she loved it so very much. She passed away in 2020 of bladder cancer, I miss her every minute. You remind me of her every time I watch you. She was so quiet when she spoke just like yourself which calms me as I learn from you. I'm learning just to do nails for myself. My mom would do acrylic on me, which was difficult as I was a nail biter, but those suckers stayed on me when she did them lol. So I'm currently learning on my own, from youtube!! Are the rings made out of gel? If so you should definitely be careful because you can develop contact dermatitis. I have had contact dermatitis and it absolutely SUCKS. Stay safe everybody🫵🏼🥹

This is the worst teaching video I have seen. Your cuticles still need work, the sculpting forms are not fitted correctly, meaning product both under the nail and down the side of the nail. An acrylic should flow much better and glide somewhat. The brush has spladed bristles. Cross contamination of products.

Is there any specific reason why you did all gel on some nails & acrylic base on others with gel overlay? I am way more familiar with acrylic then gel & just trying to understand why you would want to do one over the other. I always thought if you did longer nails like you do, then you wouldn't want to go then in gel, but you've shown differently so I'm thinking I might want to try gel. Just trying to get a better overall understanding about the gel.

As you design nail stuff make a set of brushes with glitter in the handle and a matching plain set. Use the glitter brushes for your glitter and the plain for the rest
