The reason the clear isn’t so clear is because of that graininess. Either too much acrylic was used or it wasn’t mixed enough. That being said, u always make great nail sets. ❤

Some polygels are just meant to be more grainy though. It makes them a lot easier to air sculpt with, so like when you want to build a short tip without forms. Russian techs use these kinds of polygels a lot

@@rennaymcdermott2696 that's true. I didn't say there's anything wrong with grainy, stiffer polygels. I prefer them. However, the reason why clear polys are usually harder to work with is, to maintain more of the clarity, less acrylic is mixed in.

I love the way your nails turned out. I have been a nail tech for 37 years, yes I am 61. I did retire in 2020. So I have never used gel so a week ago I had ordered this kit. The kit I ordered was $28 and it came with a full hand lamp. So I did try one nail last week and was like nope not gonna do this. So put it away. I am so use to using acrylic. So as I have watched so many videos, so glad I found this one cuz it’s the same product, anyway what I fount is I didn’t use enough of the product. So yes I will pull it out and give it a whirl. You did a beautiful set of nails! 💅🏻 ❤ I will say what I love about the gel is there is no strong smell like acrylic monomers! That is a plus!

If your polygel Is too stiff you can Just put the close tube on a heated pad and It Will become more fluid, on the opposite side if you want your polygel more hard you can refrigerate It some minutes 😊

Idk what I’m doing wrong I do this with tips and it took me over 4 hours to do them and they still looked terrible idk if I’m using too much slip solution or if my poly gel was too hard it too soft or if it was the kit that I bought honestly I have no idea

@@Kaylee-qc6xxyou can also try use alcohol, I prefer 90% but I think others use 70%. You can always add more so start with a little or medium amount. You can also always file off the gel once set. ❤

I think it's very beautiful. Your work is really good. Really good, but the only thing is Rap for me. Cause I'm an older woman. Is that the one you put the glue to do a design in the glue? I think you should have took the Chrome powder and enhance. That more like bring it out more and. And your pinky finger tinier charms. Because you have big dominant charms. And then you just keep going with the big ones. But I just think if you let's Settle. We'll make it more pop but as you did excellent work. I really appreciate it. Thank you for sharing this video.
