Dear friend.. yes, she is pure magic.. I'm 78 and only discovered vintage Bollywood in 1990. Sadhana thrilled us in "Anita", Ek Phool Do Mali" and many more. My brother and I achingly and happily remember the time of which you speak. Golden 1950's and 60's for Jazz over here in USA, but also, wonderful time all around the world. Our good ears hear all those micro-tonal notes Lata seems so effortlessly to sing. We were hooked on Music of India.. now, we both play Sitar learning Bollywood songs.
