JJ's Hairdressing Full Look Part 3 - 3D Acrylic Scissors and Comb with Bling

Hi Everybody,
In this video we are going to finish JJ's fantastic FULL LOOK for a hairdresser, Now you are probably looking at this design and thinking, OMG, how the hell can a hairdresser do hair with these nails?
Well, we know they are somewhat unwearable, these are for fun or for a hairdresser who is on holiday.
I have always wanted to do an acrylic design with a moving part, I think I must have been a mechanical engineer in a former life.
So these scissors were so much fun to do. It took me a little while to work out how to do them but it's actually pretty simple.
It was great to have JJ on hand (well, that's obvious because it was her hand we were working on) because she had her scissors and comb (she was going cut Adam's hair). So we could look at it properly and get the angles just right.
These Bobby pins are really coming in handy, from being able to press into acrylic to being a fulcrum (i think that's the right bit). This has been a very interesting series, going from sculpting beautiful glittery nails for JJ, long stiletto nails for that matter. She has never had them this long before.
To then add the silhouette of the lady with all of the hair. then to adding this 3D acrylic work and also some bling, because it would never have been anything without a bit of bling. This was also JJ's first time with bling on.

Kirsty, once again, you have proved that you are an absolute master acrylic sculptress. I can't hardly believe that you made *working* scissors! That was incredible! How she's going to get through a night's sleep with the comb and scissors still attached and unbroken has me scratching my head. I think I'd have to put a sock on my hand to *try* to make them last through the night. I hope we get to see whatever you did for her right hand soon, too. I'm sure it's every bit as amazing. Maybe you sculpted a little blow dryer and curling iron? Maybe you made one nail look like a French twist or a braid? Either of those would be very pretty. I'm sure JJ's nails were a huge hit!

I don't think she is going to try to work in those. They said something in the video about JJ being (or going) on holiday and that was why she got the nail design she got. I'm not sure, but I think she's going to a salon convention or beauty show or contest of some kind.
