Omg I thought I was the only one who did this cause I have such a hard time doing it with straight acrylic . It is so much easier this way ! And you can adjust it any way you like . Thanks for making me feel Norma!!!! ❤️

I did this way once and the ombré was beautiful but it didn’t last. It chipped on most of her nails. What am I doing wrong?

Yay! Yet _more_ ways to make fascinating gradients! And that's NOT sarcasm, either! I love knowing more ways to accomplish a thing. Even better, I actually _have_ neon pigment powders. I want to see what happens with a black and white gradient background with a neon gradient over the white section. I don't think the pigment powder would cover the black, but the way I'd have to do the black and white gradient, only the white would be tacky anyway. I have 100 ideas now and I'm going to have to think about execution for a while.

I have done something like this before. I used base coat uncured and dipped the tip into powder and cured. Then gently buff the seam down to blend, like blending for a fill in. It is super easy and looks seamless with top coat after. It also does not add bulk to the nail. Thank you for sharing.

I'm so discouraged but happy watching your videos anymore. I've just recently found out I can't get my nails done anymore due to possible peripheral neuropathy and I love doing my own nails and others and just want through cosmetology school and now I have to find something else to do. But I still love watching your videos.

I thought they would be hard, too. But after just a couple of practice nails I had it down, and it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I had anticipated. The first gradient manicure I ever did on myself was a full rainbow, two colors on each finger, in rainbow order-- red and orange thumb, orange and yellow pointer, yellow and green middle finger, green and blue ring finger and blue and purple pinky. I reversed the order on my other hand. It was really pretty and incredibly eye catching.

I kind of used a similar technique back in the winter when I wanted my nails to look like they had snow and icicles on them. I sprinkled white acrylic powder into wet gel polish and cured it. They looked so cool and like they really had snow on them lol. I think borrowed that idea from those nails you did with the snow angels and footprints in the snow on them!
@jennyc.59994 жыл бұрын
xD aaaah you beautiful QUEEN i was trying to do something like that for ages with my new powders, i actually managed to do something "decent" from far away, but it wasn't seamless that's for sure i kept going back and forth with two colors trying to mixing them in the middle, that didn't make for a seamless ombre effect i'll try again with your tips, i feel more confident now, i was only dipping, but the sprinkle thing makes sense **facepalm to my own self**
