im from the memphis,tn area and jimi jamison the singer of this song is from memphis. the rest of survivor is from chicago i think. i think he would think it be a honor to have his song sung so good. jimi is known to be a really nice man. i think arnel has great talent.i saw him in zoo on you tube, n i said journey needs him. n then in wal mart there he was with journey on tv . i was cheering up n down. i was so happy. thank god they saw him.:)

The only male singer I know that can sing "HEART" songs in the original key!!! Daig pa nga niya 'yung ibang female vocalists that tries to sing "ALONE" or "WHAT ABOUT LOVE". I've listened to almost every song he has here on KZbin & couldn't believe this guy's vocal skills. Be it Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Air Supply, TOTO, etc. YOU NAME IT, HE CAN SING IT!!!

Arnel Pineda is already a legend in the LIVE BANDS music scene in the Philippines. Well-respected & a natural-born talent. I've never met him personally but my brother & his band did esp. during the AMO Band years & only heard great & overwhelming things about him. I just saw him singing a "HEART" song while passing by this club one time & I was totally blown away. It's true what they say about him. IMPAKTO talaga, 'ika nga. Mala-out of this world baga.

Most people don't understand or refuse to understand that what Arnel does is not that easy. I mean, can you believe this guy's throat? Imagine, he's the only vocalist & he sings all these high songs esp. these "HEART" songs WITH EASE. Not putting so much effort & yet the voice leaves such a strong impression. And that, almost every night for like 2-3 hours or more of singing. This guy has a SUPERTHROAT!!!

What's more unbelievable is the 1:1 copy of Steve Perry's voice. It's really Steve Perry's voice in every aspect & technique. It's so uncanny! Arnel just added a bit more husky flavor to it now, to make it more rock-ish & soulful than Steve Perry which is a good thing.
