Had a bad experience with my foreign family. Used one from Nairobi to Mombasa and back,thought Kisumu was same but to my utter disappointment and shame it was such a bad experience that I wished that we had flown.Hope when finished ,the standard will be at per with SGR to Mombasa.

First we need to put control cost and make sure that corruption does not inflate the cost of this project as it did with MBS-NBI line(592km)Ethiopia built it's SGR from Djibouti to Addis Ababa(759 km) much longer then the Kenya SGR for less then USD3.2 million per meter compared to Kenya USD 5.2 million per meter .

Is not about building new one even the old one was good that British made the problem with Kenya is they don’t care of it no repair no replacement this one is expensive it’s hard to payback it will make Keneya bankruptcy Kenyans money is going to India haw many Indians are in Keneya all of them at least they have to send for their family to India from $200-$300 minimum in dollars India make money from it diaspora big losses for Keneya second all industry in Keneya own by foreigners the money always flowing to other countries
