i have never had a supply line get broken on me. . .apent 200 hours in game, had supply lines going to and from every single settlement. . .before i realized i didn't need that many. you just need 1 in between each one. i had this huge intricate web. but still never lost a provisioner, except one time when i tried to follow them and see where they go and then enemies spawned of which i believe the enemies only spawned because i was nearby.

So here's what I think is really fun about your dialogue, it feels very natural and conversational while at the same time the set-ups and punchlines are very stream-of-consciousness. I struggle to think of other comedians that do it like that. Additionally the lampooning of these beloved franchises through very human and obvious interactions really accentuates the whole sane person in an insane world angle.🖤✨

Have a full wall surrounding the settlement, a walkway on the wall for guards to fire from, with cover, numerous turrets, enough to destroy full squads of power armor enclave if they ever showed up. A single raider ransacks the whole settlement no matter what if I don't arrive in time. 🤬

It's because Bethesda programmed the raid spawns inside the settlements, it makes building walls in vanilla fallout 4 pointless because enemies will just spawn in the middle of your settlement. I get that the spawns have to be close otherwise the ai will just wander off instead of attacking but still it's really stupid when you've built an elaborate wall system around a place like Sanctuary, have an elaborate turret system set up on those walls and outfit all your guards with heavy-duty weapons only to loose the raid because the system essentially comes down to a flip of a coin. Hell, in my recent playthrough my Abernathy Farm's settlement which was leveled up to lvl 2 on it's city plan (I play with SS2) was attacked, I fast travelled to it, killed the gunners that were attacking, thought I killed them all so I talk to a settler which gave me the "glad you showed up" dialogue, left to go take care of something in Dimond City, and got a message saying that I failed to defend the settlement. made absolutely no sense that they apparently couldn't handle ONE gunner without my help, but that's fallout 4 for you...

@@UbinTimor What I used to do is box the spawn points with walls and a bunch of turrets. If I'm in the settlement while there is a raid, they all just die from the turrets in a walled off area from which there is no escape. Eventually, I installed a mod that just automatically ends the raids in your favor if the defense is high enough so I didn't have to physically be in the settlement.

Ha! Nice one 👍🏼. The upside is that the settlers actually do defend themselves while you’re gone. However it’s a bit of a roll of the dice 🎲 . If your settlement defense strength is 150 & up, there is a high chance that the settlement Defense quest can be completed without you. If you get the quest notification on your screen, save your game & wait for the quest to complete itself. If it says “fail” then just reload a previous save & wait in one spot for 24 hours again(at some point it will say “completed”). My spectacle island defense is 999(I have an army of gorillas). That place never fails lol 😂

The whole "You gotta at least wait five minutes to make sure the guy who owns the place shows up. If he doesn't, you can do whatever you want." is as accurate as it is hilarious. Turrets everywhere inside, walls all around, and the settlers armed to the teeth; yet two or three random raiders with the weakest weapons and little to no armor manage to kidnap someone from deep inside, trash the crops and break a generator or two. I also like how there was about four minutes of awkward small talk between the two in the video before the player shows up. As a side note: if you don't take Preston and the mostly useless group to Sanctuary, the raids happen a whole lot less often. Get that first power armor suit, take the minigun, kill the Deathclaw, and don't look back. The best way to enjoy Fallout 4 without avoiding settlement building almost entirely.

I was recently replaying Fallout 4, got a message that sanctuary was under attack and needed help defending. My issue with this was I had sanctuary well defended with a defense of over 300. So I went there, couldn't find a living raider anywhere and all I heard was multiple turrets firing off and finding a few dead raider bodies. this went on for like 5 minutes of me searching for where they needed help until I got the 'help defend sanctuary completed' message.
