Good morning sir I think I found a doubt or a 'mistake' , In the 3rd minute of this video you said that hydrogen will attract weakly and chlorine will attract strongly but, in the same video at 7:14th minute you had said that atomic radius matters in their attractive force "the grater the atomic radius is, the weaker the attractive force will be (as Colomb law states)" so as per colomb law in the case of hydrogen and chlorine , hydrogen should attract stronger because it has only 1 main shell and chlorine has 3 main shell, as chlorine has more main shells than hydrogen, so chlorine should attract weak But sorry if I am wrong sir. Thank-you

@Najam Academy Sir kindly explain why Chlorine is more electronegetive then hydrogen even though it has high atomic radius?
@nikhiljoshua49893 жыл бұрын
Because chlorine as more protons even though it's atomic radius is more but where as hydrogen as 2 atoms and small radii but electronegativity is more chlorine because protons the electron

Should I dismiss the idea that an atom with a nucleus with more positive charge also has more number of electrons hence there should be a repulsive force opposing the attraction of the electrons?
@romilakabrabam53107 ай бұрын
Electronegativity in the period mai bhi toh atomic radius decrease hua toh EN jyada hua ....ye reason bhi toh chalega na?
@madhurbhargava77816 ай бұрын
Chalega nahi dodega Bhai 😂lekin matlab Ek hi hai sir k point ka bhi Ki No of proton zada hoge toh Attraction jyada Hoga Na Electrons se jo shells Mai hai outside nucleus so size shrinks
