There is an easy method through which you can find the type of hybridization (sp sp2 sp3) All you need to do is follow the formula: v. c + t. c/2 Where (v. c) is the number of valence electrons in the central atom And (t. c) is the total number of atoms attached to the central atom So if the answer to the formula was 2 then the hybridization is SP, if it was 3 then it's SP2, and if it's 4, then the hybridization is SP3
