As an INDn, I'm happy about the abrogation of article 370 but after hearing this interview I kind of feel sad for the people of Pakistan. Its a pity that a country's leadership would drive it's people to the edge of the cliff in such a way. I guess every pakistani must ensure and compel their leaders to works towards nothing but nation building. Without a nation, ideologies would cease to exist too. Their excuse for Kashmir is losing relevance. Lastly, Mr. Sethi missed to speak on one point, though he had spoken about it in other videos. As because Pakistan has annexed Gilgit & Baltistan and made it it's province, too much campaigning by Pakistan on INDs act can backfire on itself and can be a problem for China too, for whose CPEC, Gilgit & Baltistan is the gateway. So, Pakistan is handicapped in this regard too.

So the counter is, if you can misappropriate Gilgit Baltistan so can we include J&K as formal parts of India by diluting article 370. And if you (Pakistan) question about our move regarding article 370, then we will question your move on Gilgit Baltistan, which can CPEC in question. Wow!! Wonderful point bro. Why so much angst among Pakistanis considering that the Pakistan Army never recognised the existence of accession document, Article 370 / 35A. So the abrogation shouldn't matter! Also, abrogation cannot make the situation any worse than what it has been since 1947 and especially since 1989. The change can only prove beneficial to the population of J&K and not the few separatist, even fewer pro Pakistan elements and the main stream dynastic politicians who have creamed it off for years.

Sethi Sahib your understanding and few other Pakistan journalists is right . Solution is simple. Pakistan will have to forget Kashmir and Pakistan army can reduce their spending to boost economy. Article 370 is a an atrocities on Kashmiri people. People of Kashmir will appreciate and realise in no time that Abdullas and Huriats were using artical 370 for filling their coffers . India spent 2.5 lac crores in Kashmir in last 10 years . Spet 14ooo per person in Kashmir compared other Indians 5000. But did this reach ordinary people. No . All money was eaten by jihadis and corrupt politicians. This initiative is best for peace between India and Pakistan in the long run. Hope Pakistanis understand and appreciate faster

Sethi saab you talk of UN Resolutions, but you know well UN Resolution issue was nullified by Shimla Agreement. Furthermore, you are also aware in order the resolutions to take place both Pakistan and India should withdraw troops from POK and India. This has not happened for 70 years. So talking about resolutions is waste of time. Regarding China's stand that India can not abrogate and make the subsequent changes that it made unilaterally is not tenable. Kashmir is India and no one else's participation is needed. You talk of China. It will always side Pakistan because it gobbled unjustly Aksai Chin so it is in China's interest to support Pakistan. Lastly, pardon me to say that China always considered Pakistan as its concubine not a true friend. There are no friends in international relations. Remember saab what Henry Kissenger said "a country has no friends - only interests". This Pakistan does not know. America used Pakistan for geographic reasons to counter Russia and after that to derive logistical,support to,fight in Afghanistan.
