Hey Faroh, if you like wholesome romance anime, and don't mind the "harem" trope, I'd HIGHLY recommend checking out "100 Girlfriends who really (x5) love you" It's not as bad as it sounds and honestly it's one of the best wholesome harem animes out there. MC is truly PEAK GIGA CHAD grade S. Not to mention it's hilarious.

Funny to think that Najimi's VA also played Ram in Re:zero. The difference in style is amazing. Also, Kaguya's VA playing Komi doing all the little sound effects reminds me of when all the Kaguyas are speaking over each other in the court room scenes. This series is great!

When you suggested Komi wear headphones, it made me think of a book I read a while ago. There was a character whose nonverbalism was at least partially because she got freaked out by her own voice. Her parents took her to a therapist of some kind, and they found that, when she wore headphones and had the sound turned way up and she could no longer hear herself, she could not only talk normally, but she basically had Najimi's personality. She eventually became basically a DJ, wearing headphones and talking over the radio all day. The book was called "Phule's Company".

Najimi is as many people have said, just Najimi. U can use male, female, non-binary pronouns or just Najimi. It doesnt matter since its always a mystery. Tho he switches between male and female depending on the situation and what benefits more.

From what I’ve gathered, Najimi attended middle school as a male student, but no longer identifies as such. Najimi is now nonbinary/gender fluid/both/neither, and identifies as Najimi. Najimi will interchangeably use male or female phrases. Tadano, who went to middle school with Najimi, knows how Najimi likes to tease, lie, and manipulate. He therefore believes that this is what Najimi is attempting to do now, and refuses to play along, continuing to call Najimi a boy.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful saying this but the whole point of Najimi's character is that Najimi is the ultimate teaser and Najimi ultimate tease is not letting anyone know Najimi's gender. Najimi isn't a "they" or gender fluid, the joke in the manga is writhing he/she or even "unknown" to refer to Najimi all the time, Tadano always treats Najimi as a dude tho because he knew Najimi as a dude.
