Embracing Self-Love: Insights from Najwa Zebian on Finding Confidence and Inner Strength. How to LOVE Yourself interview with Najwa Zebian.
In a world often fraught with self-doubt and insecurity, the journey to self-love and confidence can feel like an uphill battle. However, Lebanese-Canadian activist, author, speaker, and educator Najwa Zebian offers invaluable guidance on how to navigate this path with grace and resilience. Through her inspiring work and profound insights, Zebian empowers individuals to embrace their worth, cultivate self-love, and unlock their true potential.
Zebian's journey towards self-love is deeply rooted in her own experiences of overcoming adversity and embracing her identity. Drawing from her Lebanese heritage and Canadian upbringing, she navigates the complexities of belonging and self-acceptance with unwavering authenticity.
At the heart of Zebian's message is the importance of recognizing and honoring one's worth. In a society that often equates self-worth with external achievements or validation from others, Zebian challenges individuals to look inward and discover their inherent value. Through introspection, self-reflection, and mindfulness, she encourages individuals to cultivate a deep sense of self-awareness and appreciation for their unique qualities and strengths.
Central to Zebian's philosophy is the notion that true confidence stems from within. Rather than seeking validation from external sources, she encourages individuals to cultivate a sense of self-assurance grounded in self-love and acceptance. By embracing their imperfections and vulnerabilities, individuals can harness their inner strength and resilience, navigating life's challenges with courage and grace.
Zebian's literary works serve as a beacon of inspiration for those embarking on their journey towards self-discovery and empowerment. In her acclaimed books such as "Welcome Home: Build a Home for Your Soul," "Sparks of Phoenix," "The Nectar of Pain," and "Mind Platter," she weaves together poetry and prose to illuminate the beauty of resilience, healing, and self-love.
One of the cornerstones of Zebian's teachings is the importance of self-expression as a means of healing and empowerment. Through her powerful Ted Talk titled "Finding Home Through Poetry," she shares her own transformative journey of reclaiming her voice and finding solace in the written word. By embracing the power of storytelling and vulnerability, Zebian encourages individuals to share their truths authentically and fearlessly, fostering connection and empathy in the process.
To delve deeper into Zebian's wisdom and insights, individuals can explore her official website at [najwazebian.com/](najwazebian.com/). Here, they can access a wealth of resources, including blog posts, podcasts, and information about her upcoming events and workshops.
In essence, Najwa Zebian's teachings offer a guiding light for those navigating the complexities of self-love and confidence. Through her profound insights, empowering message, and heartfelt prose, she inspires individuals to embrace their worth, cultivate resilience, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. As Zebian eloquently reminds us, true love and confidence begin from within, illuminating the path towards a life filled with purpose, fulfillment, and authenticity.

All of this is very true and she has an excellent way of conveying it. But the one thing that I find missing, is the need to really examine yourself through therapy in order to know yourself completely. Of course many people seek validation of themselves or love through another person, but the epiphany is that this may be a repeating of an old pattern from childhood and we are trying as adults to get the need met that was not met when we were children. Just speaking from a woman's perspective, in heterosexual romantic relationships, a woman is often times trying to heal the wounds from her relationship or lack thereof with her father. Until we recognize this and therapy is usually needed in order to arrive at that epiphany, we will continue to seek to heal that wound through other people. In fact we actually may seek out people who are emotionally unavailable without realizing it just so that we can make come out different and better this time. We continue repeating the past in an effort to find healing and therapy is needed to get to an understanding of that pattern. Najwa did therapy. It is there that we really discover who we are and I wish she would speak to that more.

I do believe if you’re not self aware they’ll be people who will know you more than you know yourself in the sense that you don’t have the awareness of yourself

i really have an deep respect to you, you are one of my inspiration in this word i m telling you. i was trying hard to make my life up according to your advice and perception of this life not only but also, to improve my English's skills, because i m beginner at English. but unlikely, i fugured out that i was changing my own life to as bad as others. i realise how much i become selfish by forcing to think just on me. its true , people hurt us, but i think that when you just focus on yourself, you won't get anywhere and life also , has no important. Mills sorry to tell you that but , right now , i"ll keep just for my old life and habit. i was happy the way i was leading my life to help others and think about them. but i was thinking that every single world you already said, was the best one, . i don"t know , if its just because i really needed you accent and your english to improve my english, but im so fear from haw i was . you'll always be my favorite, i really enjoy myself when i watch your videos and hear your voice and your accent, i dont really know how to explain it because i m not yet master at english. its might be that every advice are not good from everyone . miles love and might your advice will be better to someone else. because i see that it doesn't work on me
