There's definitely love here. This was beautiful ❤ However, I sensed that some minor cultural differences may be at play. For example, how is Quinton insisting on "leading" when he can't even say words like "I'm sorry". Good leadership (which inspires submission) is not automatic and full of pride. It's with love and humility. And that's one of the things our brothers still don't seem to understand sadly.

The fact that he never apologizes is a red flag and may be one of the major reason for his previous relationships to turn out the way they did. The fact that they have been together for three years and he has never said the words "I'm sorry"? No one can be with someone for that long and not be wrong, gestures that show you are sorry are not enough. The words matter, they show accountability, it makes the other person feel better too.
