Yep. True. I THINK I was there, age 15- I mean it seems likely bc I saw them at this time at the Cabaret Metro. That show and punk rock changed my life!

@@tnatola1 My dad drove me and my 3 best friends the 3 hours from East Peoria. I bought Basement Screams soon after; still have it. My friends and I formed a punk band soon after, too; I played bass). Great memories. Awesome times! And now my goal is to learn how to play Rat Patrol on my new guitar. 😂

I think I see myself how scary that many years later. That band is the best from Chicago!! They had the best concerts!!

Holy crap. Never seen or heard of this before. Definitely the Metro in Chicago. The lineup is Jeff Pezzati (vocals), John Haggerty (guitar), Camilo Gonzalez (bass), and Eric Spicer (drums), so this show had to be sometime between summer '84 and summer '85. Please post the rest of this show if you got it.

This was such a great band and important band musically for a lot of upcoming bands in Chicago and the Midwest; plus they were a great bunch of guys.

I saw Naked Raygun back in August 1988 at a hardcore club in Norwalk, Connecticut called the Anthrax. It was around the time when Jettison was released. Don't remember who opened, but it was an incredible show. One of my all time Favorites.

I guess being from Chicago helped satisfy my urges to thrash through the pit to the front of the stage, to hold back the droves of people smashing into you... MISS Those DAYS!!

So, after the Naked Raygun set we were standing outside to cool off waiting for the next band. Corky (you were fucking mental, man) lines up three guys in a row (I'm saying "no way" as I know Corky is going to do something crazy). He then says " Watch this trick." The slaps all three guys in the face Three Stooges style. I was laughing my ass off.

hey speaking of Dave's Chicago roots, you might want to check out the music video produced by the original drummer for Naked Raygun. It's a total update to Jim Colao's 1982 punk classic "Only in America." kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp-3k3ppoZmGrac
