It will work but not as intended, logic gates require diodes to protect the circuit.

Circuit given in this video is wrong. Though you have added 3 1kilo ohm resistor but in circuit there are only two of those.

It’s given in circuit, 2 are 1k and one 220 ohm ( check 3:03 circuit in video)
