It's interesting that Nakuul mentioned that he had to earn his position to star alongside Karan on a show(which he earned during Ishqbaaz a while back already). People are more likely to watch an acting project due to Nakuul's presence. Karan's last few acting gigs didn't do well. Its not that Karan acted poorly or the projects were bad. Karan's pulling power simply lies towards his hosting projects and himself(interviews/shows where he is himself). People are nostalgic about him for Remix and DMG and have reverence for him but that never transcended to his acting work. Nakuul has been a bigger and credible bankable actor for a while now.
