Unfortunately, in the country I am in , we can grow only for 5 months. Right now we are in the end of winter and expecting 3-8 inches of snow this weekend. I start all the seeds indoor now, so I can plant them out in the middle of May. By October the season is over and indoor gardening only after that. You are lucky to have year round good weather. It is nice to have found a like minded gardener. It is nice to watch your garden.

சிறுகிழங்கு கொடி மாதிரி தரையில் படர்ந்து வேர் படும் இடங்களில் எல்லாம் கிழங்கு வைக்கும். கிட்டதட்ட சர்க்கரை வள்ளி கிழங்கு மாதிரி. முளைக்க வைக்க, நல்ல பெரிய கிழங்கில் உருளை கிழங்கு மாதிரி சில இடங்களில் கண் மாதிரி தெரியும். அந்த கிழங்கை மண்ணில் முழுக்க புதைக்காமல் முளைப்பு வரும் இடம் மேலே இருக்கும் படி புதைத்து விட்டால் முளைப்பு வந்து விடும். முன்பு ஒரு முறை முயற்சித்தது. அறுவடை எடுக்கும் வரை ஆனால் விட முடியவில்லை. அந்த படங்கள் இருந்தால் கொடுக்கிறேன்.

Sorry for the late in reply. We shouldn't consume it immediately. We have to leave them dry in cool place (not in sun) for atleast a week before using it. Otherwise, as you said, it will have a itching taste (Chunaikkum). The more days you leave it to dry, it will get better. You can see the change in color/texture from the harvested yum and the one I was weighing. That is how it changes before we consume

All other plants in other grow bag near this plant got white color ashwini insects. But this tomato with pidi karunai bag Did not get any insect Sir. I think something in pidi karunai root prevent insects. My avarakai plant is near to this plant but in different grow bag got lots of insect attack and I see holes in their (avarakai) leaves.
