Correct, no need to replace, juice quality is about the same, the J2 will make a little more yield, and less pulp in the juice, but be a lot easier to use, but you trade a bit more cleaning. Come back when your 350 bites the dust.

Hi John. Do you have a comparison of the Nama J3 and the Hurom H70? Also, with these machines built with a lot of plastic parts, even if the parts are mostly BPA free, what happens if a small - microscopic part - breaks or shaved off ; can that piece of plastic get into the juice? Thank you.

I have not had any comparisons with the H70 yet. I hope to soon. I have never seen a piece of plastic end up in the juice of a vertical juicer. To ensure this does not occur, just use a sieve to strain juice before catching in the catch cup to prove to yourself.

For Juicing, you ALWAYS keep the green tab installed in the juicer it puts backpressure on the pulp so it extracts more juice and the pulp is more dry. I do remove it for cleaning. I also recommend (but nama does not) recommend removing it when using the SORBET attachment to make frozen fruit sorbet so it will not back up inside the machine.

I prefer J3 and rehomed my J2. I'm the only person here that drinks juice. I dislike batch juicing. Too much work at once. I juice, chill it overnight and drink in the morning. Smaller is easier to clean. Smaller means the queen of the kitchen grants me counter space. The most I juice at once is one vegetable/fruit juice and perhaps 16 ounces of ginger shot I gulp some as needed. I juice 3 or 4 days a week. This works well for me. Everyone has different needs. J3 is all I need and nothing I don't.

No! the J1, J2 and J3 juicer parts do not fit on the others. However, most J2 parts fit on the C2 Juicer.

if you juice berries (blueberries raspberries and blackberries) does the tiny seed gets filtterd out with the pulp waste , or you still get seeds in your juice ?! , also for cherry tomaties , are seeds filttered out ? in my current slow juicer both (horiznotal and vertical ) i keep getting seeds in my juice , i need to sieve out the produced juice to get ride of the tiny seeds within the juice !! which is furstating and time consuming ! , and i dont know which juicer could give me a pure juice without seeds in it !!

First, I do not recommend juicing berries. See kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZPHaZx-j75_eK8 if you want a berry juice without the seeds, I recommend vacuum juicing, it will preserve more nutrients in berry juice as well and have little waste: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKK1qJ6VmdmdhqM for an example. Lol I don’t even have a kitchen. I just in my box room so I was exited to hear there is a portable one that can fit on top of my mini fridge but this is a very disappointing video. I did purchase j3 before and it was great but the space was an issue. I have all portable coffee maker and single serving blender on the same fridge so… I guess I’m not getting any juicers for now.
